It actually makes sense in some scenarios, for example on my level of 1000-1100 if i win a free queen i will be happy to sac mine for a rook even, just so that i don't lose it and still keep an advantage

The Tesseract, Cube, or The All-Spark are a couple names I can think of off the top of my head. The goal of the opening is to make a central mass of pawns so something around that seems fitting.

This was such a fascinating stream… The ability for Eric to just sacrifice so much material intentionally and utilize the pawn structure and open files for his rooks and queen felt like there’s so much potential there in speed chess 😂

This is the strangest chess I've seen in quite a while. It's strangely clever for obviously being a gimmick. You give up pieces, but the opponent is often inclined to give them back to deal with the central pawn storm.

This is the funniest chess video I've ever seen. Laughing so hard throughout. My favorite game was @ 27:20 where you give up both bishops, your opponent loses all sense of danger and is checkmated on move 18. Pure gold!
