Hi from England From the 90's I used to visit Ireland 4-5 times a year, I kept one of my motorcycles at my mate's in Balbriggan as it was only a 30min flight from my home in Leeds and very cheap with Ryanair. It's probably 10yrs now since I visited and the last time I did, I pointed out to my friends that their town was changing and not for the better. They looked down on me and insinuated that I was racist, which hurt me very deeply and when his 14yr old niece (massive KZfaq following) was proclaiming her bisexuality online and they all thought it was ok, I began to ask myself wtf was going on with them.
