Most of the profits they made from that song they donated to different veteran's programs. My husband is a disabled vet, he's been disabled since he was twenty-seven years old, he and his two brothers and his father were all Marines 😀 He is now 52 years old. He went back to school two-and-a-half years ago and got his master's degree in social work and addiction therapy. I'm so proud of him!!! He said he would be more than willing to talk to anyone who needs to talk!! Because he's been there and he knows 😞😞 If anyone would like to talk please just get ahold of me and I will put you in touch with him!!! Blessed Be and may you find peace with your pain!!! Cliff... 🔥🔥🔥🔥 AS USUAL!!! I absolutely LOVE the fact that you are so open and real in your reaction videos!!! Thank you for all your hard work!!!

As a military veteran who has dealt with PTSD and alcohol abuse, this song means so SO much to me. And I hope everyone who scrolls across these messages takes a minute to think about how real these issues are. Veterans are being mistreated and pushed away because we have problems. Its up to one another to help pick each other back up.

Yep, and we just raised it again despite getting out of Afghanistan (which we spent over 2 trillion on - over 6 trillion in Iraq)...not to mention that was an illegal offensive war against a country that didn't attack us. No one will ever hold us accountable for that and the thousands of war crimes committed in the process - that taxpayers funded. The vast majority of the budget goes to contractors in the industrial complex, because they have bought our politicians on both sides. They've privatized damn near everything that the military used to do itself - down to doing the laundry. That's what happens when SCOTUS legalizes unlimited political bribery with the Citizens United decision. Also, the Pentagon has FAILED its last 5 audits and can't account for over 60% of their budget. ...and we have active duty military families on food stamps.

I served for 8 years, deployed more than not. I was separated during COVID for a medical retirement (100% disabled). I was homeless with a wife and kid for months, we didn’t have any safety for years. I’ve finally started to get things together… but I’m not going to lie, every few months a gun barrel sounds like a good way out. I know it isn’t, I’ve had dozens of my veteran brothers do it. I’ve cleaned it up, I’ve dealt with the families… but it’s no joke the struggle. I hope all my other brothers are doing ok. Always remember please dial 988 and talk to someone. It’s the only reason I came down from the bridge myself. Always remember, love always. You never know what nightmares are hidden behind those eyes, and the way you treat someone might be the last way they’re treated in this life. Peace and love beautiful people.

My grandpa served in Vietnam. He was never okay after he came home. He suffered from severe PTSD, depression and night terrors. It was so bad he slept in a different room from my grandma because he'd wake up at night screaming. I was the only one he'd tell some of his was stories to. We were best friends. Sadly he suddenly passed away in 2018. I wish I could have shown him this music video. He would have loved it and probably felt like someone understood the pain he was going through.

I got out in 2004 due to mental health issues. It took till 2013 for them to approve my VA healthcare. Then they refused to service connect me so I am limited in my healthcare. I applied to be rated and their own 3rd party doctors admitted that yes I have PTSD and yes it is from my time in yet they still denied my rating and say that I am not service connected. I have no L5 and my L4 is fused to my pelvic bone. Spinal arthritis so bad some mornings I cant move for an hour or more. I have tumors that grow all through my body including one on my spine. I have Borderline personality disorder, Impulse control disorder, PTSD, a lot of other physical shit and mental shit. The reason I was Honorably discharged was I found my friend the night he hung himself and I wont lie, I snapped. It broke me. Now almost 20 years later they refused to service connect rate me because I cant remember my friends name. Even though their own doctors have said it is a trauma response to block out shit like that. But just because I cant give them his name(I told them the base location, the 2 month time span that it happened in and what happened) Because I cant give them his name and they refuse to look for it they denied me being service connected for PTSD. I am 38 and I can not walk more than maybe a few blocks, I have a mobility scooter, and a walker. A church helped me get them and the church built a ramp for me where I am renting. I do get a pension for non-service connection disability that helps pay bills. It sucks, I get like 2100 a month to pay for my bills and buy food, I cant work cause of my shit yet they refuse to rate me so I can get some mental health treatment.(As non service connected you get 8 sessions where I live and that is it. If I was rated for my PTSD it would be a min. of 30% which would mean I get unlimited mental health sessions and a slight bump in my pension. I budget every month to the point I am living in a trailer home that is falling apart and the landlord is a slumlord. Our back door is held on with boards for the last 2 years, raw sewage leaks from our stink pipe for the last 3 years, Our floor is falling apart. Yet the landlord does nothing and yeah I could go the legal route but then where do I live?? I was homeless for 3 years and this place sucks but its what I can afford and it is slightly better than being homeless. Sorry for going on a rant. I do not have friends IRL cause of my paranoia and agoraphobia but I love watching you Cliff Beats and this is the only time I have ever commented on your stuff I just figured it would be ok to vent a little in this videos comments section, So I can go back into IRL with less in my head than I do now. It does not help but it did feel good to be able to say this out loud instead of just in my head. Thank you.

I come from a line of military. My dad was a radio operator in a tank in WWII and I had an Uncle who spent most of his life and died in a veterans hospital due to injuries. I spent 20 years and am a Vietnam era vet, my second son was in the Army and got COPD in Afghanistan and was medically retired. His daughter, my granddaughter joined and spent time in the Middle East. She got out and now is a civilian working for the military. We are all proud to have served.

" We" can do more. "We" can stand united and hold our elected officials to account, and not lower our voices or our fists, until what needs to be done is done. "We" can put all our other differences aside and be worthy of the sacrifices our Vets have made. Vietnam took the life of my oldest brother, not while he was over there, but, years later here at a non helpful home. " We" can and must do more. Thank you, Cliff for being a light in the dark for so many🖤❤✊#armyofdarkness

Thank you for your messaging on this video. FFDP got me through some pretty shit times. I've been that guy sitting there questioning what we were even fighting for when it seems like no one cared. Some of society walks around acting like their freedoms just happen. Nothing is free. Someone paid for it, whether financially, mentally, or physically. Props to the Vets. The selfless sacrifice doesn't go unnoticed, at least not by me. "Gone Away" is another good one from FFDP. It's a remix of The Offspring song by the same title.

I haven't been in the military myself. But I have two sons that are active duty. Along with a son-in-law that is a Navy veteran who is now in the Navy reserves. As a mother & mother-in-law of those who serve. I want to thank you for the time that you have taken to read out all of the information of some places for our veterans to get help. Through my son's & son-in-law I have gained so many more military children. Those who still serve and those who are now veterans. It is truly extremely hard for someone who has been in the military to come back home, and try to live a civilian life. The VA sucks, the jobs and pay suck. I think our veterans have embraced enough suck. So I thank you for helping, even if it's reading off web address and phone #s. You have done more in this one video than some people do there whole life.

Imo the sad truth is that these brave men and women are left to rot on purpose, last thing the government wants is strong well trained people that love their country loose In society because they are the ones who will stand up for it. Everything is by design. Unfortunately it's the same here for our vets in 🇬🇧. ❤️🙏.

Thank you for this vid. It made my husband cry when he first saw it. It's still hard to hold back tears. More needs to be done. We give as much as we can in donations. My husband is a 13 Yr. Army Vet, he was a truck driver in Desert Storm. He got cancer in 2015 and since we weren't married yet I couldn't put him on my insurance. We tried the VA for help and they declined him because they said he made too much money (Gross), he was an Owner Operator Truck Driver. Luckily we found a wonderful surgeon through a clinic who didn't charge us and the hospital worked with us. Our son was only 2 at the time and we were so scared. Happy to say he has been cancer free since his operation on April Fool's Day 2015. It's just sad that he served and had an honorable discharge and we couldn't get him help.

(Sorry, this video always hits a nerve in me, so this is detailed.) FFDP is a great rock band with excellent music. This song and video are needed for spreading the word. I am 60. I grew up in the VFW with a lot of WW1, WW2, and Korean War vets. I witnessed the draft of Vietnam and how terrible those who returned were treated, while the dead or missing were honored. Really, a slap in the face to those who were drafted - often without consent; they joined or faced jail or exile. My WW2 Navy dad worried about my older brother getting drafted, but college students could be exempt. Returning vets were largely dismissed. That included exclusion from those earlier veterans. Mental health was generally ignored or discounted as weak. With the wars or "operations" (did those in charge feel better by making it sound softer), American started with praise. Then, with 9/11 fading to the past for many, that support also faded. I witnessed 9/11 up close, lost people then and in those conflicts. Survivors of both are deeply and forever changed. Always support veterans, no matter what their circumstances are. If you see homeless men and women, acknowledge that they exist. If nothing else, a smile or simple hello is very powerful. Sorry, I had to get that out, or my day would suck.

Late comment but it is amazingly beautiful how you read and spelled out each org at the end. I am not not a vet...im the only male in my family that has not served besides one of my grandfathers, and he was a police officer. But I hope and pray any vet watching or listening to this video that needs help reaches out. Even though they don't apply to me, I couldn't skip you reading these. The break down/reaction to the song is great, but caring enough to read and spell out each org made me gain so much respect of you as person, and I haven't even met you. Awesome band! They have always been very supportive of the troops. Their cover of the song Gone Away is also a tough watch, but worth it.

This song always hits hard. I have an uncle who was exposed to the “agent orange” chemicals and who has had irreparable damage done to him and who has continuously suffered to live even half of a normal life. Growing up, I didn’t know any of this. I just new he was quiet and kept to himself. Later on in life, I certainly understood why and was angry for not being told about what happened.. My heart goes out to any veteran. You made a difference, I just wish we as a society to make a difference for you. You should also check out “Coming Down” by Five Finger Death Punch. I don’t want to spoil anything about the song but I definitely think you will enjoy the message behind it and it’s a good song to use as awareness to a vulnerable part of society.

Yeah FFDP is really really good about honoring the veterans, that’s one of the reasons they are my #1 favorite band. Gone Away is another really strong video to watch that can bring u to tears

To go with this song, you need to watch Fuel- Angel's take a soul. It is a great song, and it also shows a program to help vets, and to raise money for these programs. Very beautiful. Love your channel and excited when your on.

I love this song. i also have alot of vets in my family and its sad this government doesn't give a shit about them, it tears me up everytime i hear this song. Five Finger Death Punch has made it a mission to offer such opportunities. Not only does the band provide direct jobs for veterans, but they also raise money for different veteran initiatives - like PTSD awareness - through their merchandise site, which also acts as a resource guide for accessing help through various links.

Thank you so much for your heart felt reaction. I appreciate you reading all of the numbers and websites. It also touched my heart when you told people to reach out to you if they were having a dark night of the soul. You are so generous and understanding. Thank you ❤

I'm a veteran and I hate when people say thank you. You don't care. Do something your words mean nothing. Thank you for doing this man. Much love. I know between my friends and I most of think we are not good people but not bad it complicated to explain. You're in limbo and can't help feeling like your useless.

You are a truly wonderful person and you earned my sub today and I'm so glad I've found you again. Used to watch you back when the crypt Cyphers were a big thing I believe. Keep doing all the great work brother and stay true to the person you are. 💪

I’m so happy you saw this video. When I recommended Castle of Glass by Lincoln Park, I also thought of this song. Thank you for helping anyone and everyone. A song I’d like to suggest you look at is Ghost by Justin Bieber. It’s not about veterans, but it’s more about losing someone. It really helped me after the loss of 2 family members less than 2 months apart.
