Thats awesome Jessica. Its like look fast, hold the thought, and rely on the skill of the hand to quickly preserve what I just saw. Each small part creates the whole.

It's a shame water-soluble (or water-miscible) oils haven't caught on in the US (though I understand they have come to prominence over traditional oils in Europe). To my mind, they offer the best of both worlds between oils and acrylics. They dry faster than oils but not as unforgivingly so as acrylics; you can work them in a buttery texture as long as needed. And cleanup is simple (and non-stinky), with simple soap and water. My brushes come nicely clean, even when using the heavily staining phthalos. (All my white acrylic brushes are now various shades of phthalo blue.)
