That intro cutscene talking about a "B-13" virus and a "quarantine to be lifted" is just perfect for this year.

Fun fact: this game was a moderate success in Spain... because the publishing company, FX Interactive, pretended it was a sequel to a completely unrelated game. FX owned the rights to a late 80s cult classic called After the War, so when they got the rights to this game, they rebranded it with that very same title and they were like "Yeah, you guys, this is totally a sequel set in the same continuity of the original game".

This is one of those games that could have been released at any point in the last 15 years. Like it could have been a PS3 launch title or it could have been released yesterday.

If the intro cutscene was a full fledged CGI movie, I would totally watch it as a guilty pleasure

I like the idea of a civilization following our civilization, bringing together some basic knowledge about the techniques of the foregoing civilizantion, yet being massively underdeveloped and falling back in communic behaviour. It is like second middle age and to be honest this is a valid possibility you know?

I played through this a couple years ago and had more fun then I expected. Its surprisingly decent for what it is, and amazing for $1. For a similar level of well-intentioned jank, check out Alpha Prime on Steam.

This has the vibe of a game that started as a parody of the apocalypse genre that somehow became a real attempt. Still looks pretty enjoyable though.

The music is the best part of this game. it reminds me of Killer Kross' WWE theme Fall and Prey. I like it.

I remember to play this game on release. STALKER's hype at that time transferred to other Ukrainian games, so there was real interest. But it was mediocre.

damn - this has moments where it seems kinda neat. Those combo strings if implemented better could be cool, i'd also probably just drop shooting, looks like it'd make a better melee game - and those animations seemed pretty good if they werent stock.

I don't know why, but I'm getting Daikatana vibes from the art style.

I love how there is no crosshair, lock on, or any real way to aim with any kind of accuracy. Was getting Drake flashbacks. The melee seems kinda well developed and fun, though? Really weird to see a throw button in one of these games.

Yes, this is a Ukrainian game, but there is a complex relationship when comes to Slavic games. Any game made there is aimed to Russian audience first, and then - Europe and Us. Reason is that Ukrainian gamers are a small fraction of Slav players and Russian-speaking ones are the majority Just maths, no politics
