Hi Bryce... Thanks again for this video. I just installed a PM4 on my APR Stage III+ 2009 Audi A3 DSG Quattro running a DW65v LPFP. It is a great product and a easy install. Also like you, I also have a blue 2016 MK7 Golf R manual with a built motor and other goodies like the APR Stage III+. Seems like we are both on the path to E85 tunable and trackable Golf R's. Keep up the videos!! Are you planning to upgrade the HPFP as part of your build? If so, what brand? If you haven't considered the USP Motorsport Haldex tune for you Golf R, you should really look into it. I love it.

Wow, nice set of rides dude! Can't wait to build my motor so I can turn the tq up lol, what's your cars making for power? And I have precision Raceworks port injection kit with the walbro450 lpfp with 925cc injectors, hoping we don't cap out on E @32 psi, but should be low 500s at least. Still a long ways to go with the car though gotta shed more weight and add aero.. needs a corner balance real bad too 😩 do you road course your cars?

Also I have UMs haldex tune, it's dope and I love it! I have an update waiting gonna do that next month when I go to Denver for street car takeover, hopefully it doesn't change too much

Awesome video! I have a question. I am currently running the eqt Vortex with an upgraded HPFP. I plan on upgrading the LPFP to a walbro 450. I don’t plan on running e or doing mpi. Do I need this or will my stock controller be ok? Sorry for the long question

Should be just fine without it on pump gas. I ran fine without it on 32psi, mainly go it for when I go E

@@BryceJordanProductions once again you answered my question. Plan on dropping in my precision stage 3.5 LPFP on stage 2 UM in preparation for flex and MPI and was wondering if I would be able to drive the car to my tuner for flex and mpi tune. Sounds like it should be fine on pump gas. 🙌🏼

I really like how I could use the terminal like that! And I didn't need to interface at all, ECU has control and I leave that to the tuner. I'm not sure what scenario you would need to connect it to a computer, maybe for troubleshooting or something along those lines.

Hello, Recently I got p0087 low fuel pressure code after I've changed my stock pump to walbro 450 on my mk7 gti. Sometimes my car fuel cuts itself. Is that because I did not set this pm4 up and use the pump with my stock controller? Thanks,

It is very possible. What turbo how much boost what kinda fuel? More then likely this would be it if you're not getting that code under *normal* operation but more so in high boost/RPM

@@BryceJordanProductions Thanks for reply. Using a ebay is38 with 93 gas and not sure about boost level. I have no idea how to check. (Do you mean psi on its gauge?) So firstly, used a 525 pump. Got an autotech hpfp, set the pump up and the trouble came out. At first my car lost engine power for a second time to time. But I could kinda handle it with accelerating gas pedal softly and using rpm higher than 2000. It usually happened between 1500-2000 rpm. I just thought pump was way too big for my car so that purchased and set up a 305 pump again. But now engine dies after about 10 mins after it started. I set up the new pump properly. I am pretty embarrassed about this situation because never experienced dying engine on highway and spent too much money for one part. Usually did diy for almost every parts after watching youtube videos including yours. In Korea, since GTI mod market is not so big with less users and info, nobody knows about my current symptom. Now I am waiting for a stock lpfp to go back where I used to be. This is why I asked you about pm4. People upgraded their lpfp on youtube finally set pm4 up. So that it might be a solution for my car. Getting headache about not buying pm4 in advance but other pumps over and over. Anyway thanks for replying me. I get lots of tips from your video. Got some great info!

I'm stock turbo but running MPI and getting ready to go full E85. Do you think this will be necessary if I'm only stock turbo?

I think you'd be fine, if stock can handle E30 with MPI it shouldn't be hard to do full E. I'd talk to your tuner, but if you plan on going hybrid you might as well get it over with and be extra prepared

When I asked my tuner before the install he said I didn't need a revision to run it, but I did logs immediately (I was still in the revision process though). So I would say no you don't.. but I'd definitely shoot them an email and double check to be safe

It might be... I'm probably not the one to ask honestly. Bring it up to your tuner see what he has to say.. I've never had the code before
