@@korbor_ grass starters tend to be based on extinct animals. So perhaps Smilodon or some other big cat from a few million years ago that went extinct.

My first game was black and white and I hope they make a game with the black and white pokemon in it.

As a totodile fan boy i too am picking the fire boy. I mean i just love corocodiles so much. So them having a fire type croc is dope. This might make fire my second favorite type (water is my favorite) so fire might beat ground as my second favorite

I agree. The overworld and pokemon look god tier. The only thing they could’ve done better (in my opinion at least) is the character designs

not good comparing with top switch game this era. but the best among the gf pokemon franchise.

Compared to other modern games, it could be better. But for gamefreak, it's pretty good graphics.

@@skin350 I think some people just really like the fire types. It is very cute though I will admit, so that's probably the biggest reason. I think the general consensus is that most people like all of the designs this gen, which is pretty neat considering there have been divided opinions in most past generations.

I'm leaning more on the fire starter. I chose Rowlet for Sun and Moon, and I would choose Sobble for Sword and Shield (if I had a switch). So, my next starter will be fire.

It IS too soon. You're telling me that Game Freak actually listened to all of the complaints we had about Legends Arceus and fixed all of them to give us this reveal of ScVi? HAIL NO they didn't! They had BOTH of these games developed simultaneously and didn't learn ANYTHING. And I'm to expect that these games will be polished and have taken in all of the problems Legends Arceus had and fixed them by the time the games release this year? They are shooting themselves in the foot. They NEED to delay ScVi to 2023 so that they can ACTUALLY let Legends Arceus have more than a single month to simmer in the pot before they start to take in all the criticism the game has, learn what could've been better, and then use that to make ScVi the absolute best games they can be. Cause right now, all I'm getting out of this is "We're rushing gen 9 so hard just to meet a deadline", and tell me what game franchise that has ever worked out well for. Because that kind of mentality does NOT work. Games need TIME to develop. Game Freak needs to stop rushing to meet deadlines and they need to TAKE THEIR TIME. I want to see ScVi be good games, but right now, this just feels like a rush job that is not gonna have learned anything from the issues Legends Arceus has and is gonna have all the same issues, which you KNOW pokemon fans are gonna tear this game apart if that ends up being the case. I don't want gen 9 to become gen 8 2.0. I want the games to be good and not have the overwhelming hate like Sword and Shield got. But this announcement is not giving me that good vibe. And I hope Game Freak does the right thing and delays the games to 2023 so they can make them the best games they can be.

Don't get me wrong, I understand what you're saying, I can totally get behind that too. But SwSh are some of the best selling games in the franchise, even though opinions on the quality of them are very very much split. :/ So on that front there's not really an "overwhelming hate" towards them either. Honestly, you can already forget the idea that Pokémon games will be delayed, it's not going to happen anytime soon. As long as the games' sales dont seriously dip at the very least, and they don't show any sign of that.

Gamefreak always had 2 different teams working on two different projects at the same time one was working on legends arceus and the other was working on gen 9. Neither of the teams worked on bdsp because it was made by ilca. They release a new gen every 3 years. I imagine the team that was working on the swsh dlc is the team working on gen 9. So from the date the dlc was published to the date of the game release is how long the game would have been worked on. So it don’t think the game was too rushed and when they are pretty much done with the game, prob near end of Novemberish they will look at all the problems of legends arceus and continue to fix them until the release date which is prob somewhere in December before the holidays.

@@antonebean3128 omg. I just found someone that makes sense. Someone that thinks about/understands it. To add onto this though gen 10 Will probably be in 2026. They'll take extra long for the 10th generation of pokemon that Will be announced on the 30th anniversary and we'll go from probably around 970 or 980 mons to over 1000! Just think about the marketing opportunity there.

Given the region is based on Spain and Portugal I think it's not a spicy pepper but a Piquillo pepper, very common and traditional in Northern Spain

I was a believer in gen 9 too but then I remembered sw/sh dlc so the game would have a shorter time to be developed. I lowered my expectations a bit which you should always do. I was pleasantly suprised by this
