PNR Train from Sipocot to Naga in Camarines Sur. Bicol Express Adventure Part 2.

I have been dreaming of riding the Bicol Express Train to Bicol, but the line has been closed for many years.
So, the news that some segments of the Bicol line have been recently opened got me all excited that I could finally experience the joy of riding the train around Bicol.
So, I packed my backpack, went to PITX and bought a ticket for an overnight bus to Sipocot, Camarines Sur. Took the bus 9 hours to reach Sipocot. Had a quick breakfast, then walked straight to the Sipocot PNR Train Station.
This video gives details of my Sipocot to Naga train experience, as well as details about the trip: the location of the station, the trip schedules and flag stops, the fare matrix, and the brand-new INKA train (from Indonesia) being used for the Sipocot-Naga line.

I enjoy riding the INKA trains. Very comfortable, and not as shaky as the old trains. The AC is very cold that I often bring a jacket. Thank you Indonesia for sharing them to Philippines

Parang matagal ba maibalik yung manila to legaspi line kasi binaklas na yung riles sa pagitan ng laguna at manila pero mulkang gumagawa sila ng effort para yata sa Laguna to Bicol train line kasi aayusin na daw nila ang mga riles sa may Quezon

Buti at naiserbisyo na ang PITX for the commuters. Mas safe at malinis. Sana magawan ng paraan ang sa Cubao kasi di lahat ng bus terminal maayos tingnan at malinis. Ang gulo nilang tingnan, di organisado.

Correct. Cubao is actually servicing travel sa Norte. Sana makapag develop din Ng similar to PITX.

37 kilometers. Full fare is 60 pesos. I paid 48 pesos as senion.

Bro bago napaalis ang dating pres marcos ang tutuban to bicol (iriga pa yata) e nagana pa. Ang mga container vans from south harbor to laguna sinasakay sa tren. Mga panggatong mula bicol to manila sa cargo train isinasakay. Ang riles sa tutuban to southharbor mga buildings na nakatayo. Bakit pinayagan mawala yung riles? Noon, isang biyahe ng tren mahigit 20 containers ang karga o hatak hatak.Bakit d naging priority ng govt after ffm dahil una ang pagmamaneho ang isa sa madaling naioffer ng govt as trabaho. Bakit? Since nawala ang manila bicol line, dumami ang bus companies. Since nawala ang cargo trains dumami ang tractor head na naghahaul ng containers. Kaya ayan nagkatrapik trapik na. Noon pagkawala ni ffm lumaganap ang imported na second hand trucks na karamihan right side driving. Dati pinayagan pero noon dumarami ang disgrasya dahil sa dispalinghadong converted trucks n buses kaya ipinagbawal. Sino ang mga nakinabang sa pagkawala ng tren mga negosyante ng trucking n bus owners.

North-South Commuter Rail for Calamba-Clark is high speed. Calamba-Bicol will be running at 80-100kph based on the plan. Soon PNR will be world class.
