Clean carb jets, change spark plug and turn the pilot fuel switch a 1/2 turn clockwise

Clean the carburetor and put a new spark plug and check the fuel petcock

ok so on the left side of your carb there should be a little golden screw, that screw is probably too loose and you need to use a flat head screw driver and turn it clockwise 180 degrees and then try starting it, if it still isnt starting or starting and cutting out then tighten the screw another 180 degrees clockwise and try starting it again, basically you just have to try and get that screw tight enough for it to not cut out but not too tight that its giving it too much revs, i hope this helps

turn your idle down 3/4 of a turn, make sure your gas tank is not air tight, and turn your choke off after starting it p.s. use premium gas

make sure the choke inst on. Remove the sparkplug and consider replacing it if it doesnt look too good. You might also need to change the mixture of either 2 stroke oil and petrol, or the fuel and air mixture(can be done in the carburetor)

The carbirator is full with fuel or oil! You might even need a spark plug replacement or even a new bit to the engine!

Yikes, that engine had sounded like that it was in mad trouble when it was running for a few seconds. Did you expose it into a lot of weather conditions, too?

take apart your carb. cleans it with car cleaner, check your idle screw and replace your fuel with new fuel. If it's a 2 stroke then make sure you have the proper mixture. My pocket bike was 6 years old and I got it to start. All things metioned above you can search on youtube.

sounds to me like the idle adjustment screw needs to be loosened/tightened. there is a tiny screw that controls the fuel flow when the throttle is not engaged, it is right where you screw the throttle cable into the carb. Mess with that screw some and it should run better. Sounds like the idle is really high and that would cause it to just cut off while running.

hi take off all gas lines and clean them also check the spark plug out to see if u are getting a good spark.

My problem was the tap gasket. First was damaged and made another one from rubber, second didn't get gas in carburettor because I made it a little bit thick. If you change the gas tap you would clean the carburretor.

Have you tried putting in a new spark plug? And start it with the back wheel off of the ground so you can rev it up and clean it out

hey guys i have a mini bike too and it starts but ryns like complete crap and i was wondre what is wrong with it i checked the gas and it is good, the spark plug is good and the airfilter is great so whats wrong with it please reply its a 43cc apc mini bike

give the carburettor a clean, have the chock in different positions, clean the spark plug ; I believe the car is not sending petrol threw property when the piston sucks the fuel in if the bike just bogs down then you have too much fuel going through and when you start it you shouldn't have to gas it, on the carb on the right side there should be a little gold screw with a spring tighten the screw 180 degrees and if it refuses to fire up then tyrn the screw another 180 degrees keep experimenting with the bike until it start

I know you need to change oil wait about 1 or 2 days and do not start the engine with brake on first try then you can do it on the second try and it should start enjoy.

You will need to use a 2-stroke motor oil mixed within your Fuel for your 49cc classed engine. If you don't; your pistons will pretty much give up on you for any further damage in around 30 seconds. At this condition, have a carburetor cleaned out thoroughly. When you are done riding, keep your carburetor drained from any more fuel. At the amount of gas that you will be using; look up for how much motor oil that you will need to use be using to mix with the fuel amount.(a fuel+oil mixing bottle)

I know exactly why... there is a silver screw on the bottom and it needs to be turned clockwise. this is the idle speed of the bike

are you sure the fuel petcock is letting gas into the carb.

Do the accelerater whith pull starting it at Same Time wen you pull start and if it comes on keep and revving it

turn the idle screw clockwise or if that doesnt make a difference tighten your throttle cable on top of the carb

I had the same problems, bought the cag daytona of ebay, would start up, 10 to 15 sec. I cleaned the carb, and replaced spark plugs. Believe it or not, starts up on first crank, AFTER 8MONTHS

It does not get enough fuel. I think it is the fuel-turn off switch. Try to unscrew the bottom screw on the carburator - to se if there is a steady-flow of gasoline. If not - try fooling a little with the gas-switch to se where it flows free. The switches can cause problems.

try puring a little bit of fuel under the spark plug like a capful tops. if it fires up for a millisecond to a second then you know it is your carb. dont pull as much as you do or you will risk flooding!

_if_ it ran o.k. 6 months ago, it may just be a gummed up carb. The cure is; clean the carb out - ensure all jets are clear. You _might_ get away with just adding a little 'Redex' (fuel system cleaner) to the tank. If not.... carb off and clean out (awkward / not hard though). Fresh fuel, clean the plug, ensure fuel IS getting to plug (easy check; is the plug wet or dry after trying to start?). Good Luck.

Maybe not the carb. Could also be as simple as the gas turn on/of switch. They can be bad. Unskrew the bottom screw on the carb to check if there is a steady flow there. If not - chances is that it is this switch...

The first thing is that if you have not ran it for long time take the old gas out put new stuff in then go to nappa auto parts get carb cleaner for about 6 dollars put in a bottle spray the outside get a diffrent bottle take carb apart spray it then put it back together put it back on if its not that but it is there is some other problems to somtime the spark plugs go quick and mayby check the coil to

try put same fuel in cilindar (take spark out and try) if it starts you dont getting fuel in carburator

Make sure spark plug is clean make sure carb is clean then is that doesn't work put take spark plug out connect to coil and put side of spark plug (screw bit) on metal and see if sparking, if that fails it's the air intake screw needs playing with remember where it was originally it took me a day to figure that out lol

Take the carb apart and blow some air/carb cleaner threw the jets if that doesn't work try testing for spark you want a blue or purple spark also before taking the carb apart check and make sure gas is making it threw to the carb

Empty all old gas and remove gas line at carb. spray carb cleaner let sit over night. new clean gas mixed properly with oil. if it still won't go try a shot of starter fluid. next take out spark plug check gap. may need new carburater.

Cuz u have to have the choke up tha that's why it won't start changing spark plug in make sure you run out the gas

like everyone said on here replace the carb n make sure the spark plug has no carbon on it if the spark plug has carbon on it just use some fine sand paper on it n make sure it's clean that was my problem with my spark plug .... btw n I replaced my Japanese spark plug with a NGK spark plug it's like 5$ at Wal-Mart lol

U need to keep the choke on half way by the way then it should start

ok if it will start with starter fluid easily. then the problem is the carburetor. if the carburetor has a shut off valve on it you need to get a different card without a shut-off on it or you're going to have to go in there and make a modification to open it up the rubber inside swells and warps and shuts off the fuel only a trickle will go in the carburetor I fought this on two different engines with the same carburetor and found out that's what the problem was simple fixed if you know what you're doing and you can see what it's doing good luck

Give it gas when you pull, mine is the same and it doesn’t start unless you twist the throttle by pulling

u have to overhaule your motor maybe too much oil inside the block or try to check your spark

Ur turn off swith for gas there is a little rubber piece that is bed or rotted away its alowing either way to much fule and fluding its self ot or it is blocking injector port hole

I had the same problem all u need to do is pull it 2 times slow the try fast 3 times but no more or it's going to put to much petrol on the spark plug an if not working after that u need to Clean every thing on that bike

when i just got mine in the mail my whole pull start was broken to shit and my hole body was cracked..

spray gas in the carb if it starts right up it needs a new carb cuz that one is very cloged

you must for ride the shock getting down or it isn't goes on permamently for start and for Pocketbike start you must take First for so long time ago the Shock down for again to take the First try :) good luck

Mines Brand new and won't start...I did everything right and it don't even sound like it wants to crank

U have to empty your fuel bulb it is at the bottom of that bike with a screw with an I ring round it

you need you clean the jets in the carb

Pull the carbie out and give it a clean up!

Put starting fluid in the engine that is what I did when that was happenning to me

Get a new carb and spark plug and maybe change fuel line

If it is 2 stroke it takes mixed gas so maybe you are putting the wrong type of gas into it

twist the throttle about 50 % when u get it started

Your spark plug is not connected properly remove the plug cap and put it on properly

clean the carburetor and then take it apart then put it back together it will work about a couple hours or just buy a new carburetor trust me that a zacked thing happened to me
