I'm currently running Redmi Note 10s myself, and it's getting outdated. So, this rebranding is ridiculous. They clearly want to get easy money by fooling people.

@@larrymuryuqi1758 well, the software has been updated to MIUI 13 recently. So, it's the same on that part. They just put another logo on the back. It's a clear marketing scam. Probably, a way to get extra revenue during tough times.

I was using the Redmi 10x 5g, with the Dimensity 820 chipset, it was a superior phone and that was from two years ago. I had hoped that the Dimensity was the future for phones using Mediatek but obviously there is some old stock to be used up.

They need to recycle the chips and parts of the older models that weren't sold, rebranding them as new models with apparently outdated specs

@@Techtablets the main camera sensor of the poco is from Samsung, but the one in the redmi is from omnivision, so i expect that they have different camera performance, Samsung sensors are better, also if you look closely at the selfie specs, they are slightly different the one in the poco has a bigger aperture, so i also expect different performance in the selfie, the one in the 10s is unusable

I would like know if this phone is able to run alarm clock when it is switched off ... Xiaomi Note 8T was able to do it. It switched on 5 minutes before alarm and then run alarm. Why nobody test this feature? All my past phones was able to do this, even better way .. I could set wake up time/switch on time independently of alarm. Nowadays seems this like sth special. I just have bought Motorola M52, nice phone for nice price but it is not able to wake up, so I have to buy other one, but it is practically impossible to find this info of any phone anywhere.

Fully recycle of Redmi Note 10s. Rebranding was always problematic and Xiaomi is taking that to another level. A phone's release price is supposed to decrease after a year or so. But they start discontinuing sell just a year later and rebrand those models with or without minor modifications also keeping the release price.

I was about to say that this is way weaker vs the X3 Pro for slightly more money, turns out the X3 Pro became more expensive by almost 30% vs when I bought it!!

M5s will get 1 more Android update than 11s, and M5s has slightly better graphics performance, as well as ability to record 4k but no EIS.

obviously, because x3 use sony lens and not whatever brand of lens they used on 10s and this model, probably samsung or omnivision, its either 1 cant tell the exact one but it aint sony like x3
