Without POCO the music world would be a very different place. 45 years ago they blazed the way for the genre of country-rock music. Their influence has been felt ever since with most notable influence being the group "The Eagles". The twists and turns of the music business and personality conflicts took it's toll from the very beginning. In spite of that POCO has been writing, performing and recording for 45 years!

Congrats, and thanks for sharing! Quite a 46 years' worth of great musicians, yes. Interesting to hear your experience with Buffalo Springfield; One of many iconic sounds and groups, with some shared DNA in the gene pool: of what became Poco, Buffalo Springfield, CS&N (with the other Young on pedal steel), Loggins & Messina, etc. - and cousins like Eagles (and maybe even Flying Burrito Brothers and others). My favorite vague memory of middle school: Watching the VU meters on the reel-to-reel while listening on studio monitors and going into Poco Zone. Fun. Not a big commercial success (at 18:25, wonder why?!) but this song, an entire "B side" (or big chunk of tape)... wow.
