To Jenna's answer about feeling like she needs to be "entertaining" all the time, while I do love her random, yet thought out ideas of making herself her dog or a chair, or making a bed of soap, I will say this: I watch Jenna and Julien not just for the content they put out, but for them. They're good, smart, and funny people who deserve to be able to feel like they can do a random video without feeling like they need to make it "internet worthy" by making it seem outrageous or silly. Personally, I would love to watch vlogs or a decorating video. Go ahead and do it! I can't speak for the whole community, but a lot of us are 100% here for it.

I'm glad some people are! I don't watch any other youtuber outside of Jenna and I was drawn in originally for the short, comedic scripted/semi-scripted content she put out. I have 0 interest in vlogs or low-effort content. It's not that I don't like Jenna or even Julien - it's just, I have a lot of things I'd like to watch and games I'd like to play and I don't have a whole lot of free time. Watching someone recording themselves going about their life and casually chatting is at the very bottom of my list of things I would want to spend my free time watching. I know there are people who do enjoy that stuff (for reasons that elude me - I also missed the reality tv bandwagon, haha), but I just wanted to speak up and say that she does have a demographic she picked up along the way that was never interested in that content. The more of her videos head that direction, the less I've been tuning in and I've been watching her since my early twenties.

I agree with this 100% so much so that i turn on their twitch streams and watch them fully the whole 4-6 Hours of recorded material because their energy just puts me in a great mood. Thanks for always being great Jenna & Julien!

imbrutallyinlovewithyou could not agree with you more. I personally watch them for yes the content, but mainly for their personalities and there outlook on life. I could watch them stare at a wall for an hour and still think it was a great video. They are so genuine in everything they do and that translates so clearly when watching them, and personally I think that’s why they are so loved and respected in the KZfaq community. X

Jenna you're the only KZfaqr I've consistently watched throughout the years. I've grown up watching you since I was 13.. I'm 18 now. Even Shanes new content doesn't compare to yours. And that's bc you make all your subscribers feel like they're hanging out with you. I can't speak for everyone but you make me feel connected to you. You don't act like a big KZfaqr. I love mundane stuff sometimes. Jenna, I’m 28 and I’ve been watching you since I was around 20 & feel like a lot of your fans have aged along with you as well. jenna, if you struggle with wearing shorts because of the ratio of your legs:torso, go for shorts with a higher waist so it trims down on the length of your upper half and accentuates the length of your legs. i struggle with the same issue so i know what you mean.

Y’all should seriously do a podcast reading/analyzing your full birth charts. I’m not sure if you’ve done this before but it would be fun to see your moon and rising signs and others and how they work together, especially since you guys identify with being Aries/Virgo so hard. A great place to start is the app co-star (you can compare your charts right in the app), but there’s a few websites out there that are more elaborate!!

I feel so bad for Shane, he's really loving what he's making. He's making such great and interesting content. All these mini docos yet he doesn't get rhe recognition from KZfaq. He's consistently pulling in millions of views each and every video. He did a video with a girl named Jordanne (i think that's the spelling, Bobby's gf) about the trending page. She suggested because Shane continuously gets millions of views and lots of comments that it doesn't register as trending. But I think it's also more YT being a dick to Shane. I never used to watch Shane but I religiously do now. He's such an awesome person.

I know you guys probably get a lot of love to read through but just in case you stumble upon my comment, I want to say thank you. You guys have been with me through so much! I’ve been watching Jenna since 2010 when I was foster care and had no friends. Watching Jenna’s random ass videos was the highlight of my week! You guys have been there with me through high school and now you’re coming with me through college! I love being able to watch you guys grow and change and be real about how hard life is sometimes. So keep doing you guys because you’re awesome just the way you are! No matter where the wind blows you guys I’ll be in the comments cheering ya weirdos on!

I think once YOU (the creators) decide what your target audience is, then your content ideas shape up a bit. Ex: you might lose young subscribers (if uploading more normal things) but you might gain adults who genuinely are interested in the process of life: moving, buying a home, furnishing, taking care of pets, (etc).

Louise Pentland, sprinkleofglitter, is a classic example of that. I stopped being interested in her cutesy one direction videos but sparked interested again in her adult content. Her channel has now evolved into an adult channel.

I think the big thing about “being able to be candid and shared your thoughts” here vs your main channel is a very good point, but ultimately your personalities shine through and you’re genuinely entertaining and interesting, and funny. And I think that’s why so many people choose to watch you guys. At least that’s how it is for me. 💜

I can relate to you so much about skiing!!! My boyfriend Tom is an amazing skier and he asked me to go skiing, so I went because I love the guy and being a Colorado native and not being a skier is shocking. Anyway I'm going down the bunny hill and I'm french frying down and my speed is wayyy out of my comfort zone, so I instantly pizza and I have the biggest fall of my life and I'm just cry laughing. My poles were over 2 feet away, so Tom being a sweetheart picks them up for me and throws them at my face. Resulting to receiving a busted lip and having bruises all over my legs. It was quite the experience, but I felt wayyy better after eating. Overall it was a good experience and I'd go again. Hopefully this story doesn't discourage you to not go skiing...lol. I love you both tons. xoxo

Ok, I searched the comments, and didn't see it but... Does almond milk even have the ability to soothe a person's mouth from hot foods? Cow's milk does because it's got natural fats and compounds which are inherent to cow milk that attach to hot oils on your tongue. Does Almond Milk have any of that? I tried searching the internet, but couldn't find much. If it's all placebo than that's cool too. I mean I hate cow's milk too, but I don't think almond milk will help, man.

I do miss Jenna’s vlogs, but I can understand why she doesn’t post them anymore because no one deserves to just get attacked the way she has for just being a human. I get that people try to be helpful, but when it’s like thousands of people saying the same thing and sometimes not in a nice way, it bring someone down a lot. And while I may not be super into each video that Jenna posts, I still watch it and find it entertaining and respect that it’s what she felt like doing for the week and that it made her happy.
