I was happy that Jorah's death ended in the arms of Daenerys. And i was glad they ended his life that way because to imagine him continuing to serve the woman that he can never have for another 5 years or 10 years would have been long, painful and a waste of feelings. But now, whenever i see Jorah alive, i start to cry. I love him. He was truly my favorite character.

I feel this scene where it’s basically just silence and then this song, it really emphasized the doom. Idk I just get this feel of impending doom, they did a really good job portraying the emotions in this scene.

I never completely got why that single song haunts me to this day. Maybe a mix of a lot of things. People expecting to die, hoping not to die. Some people say there's a certain freedom to seeing your own death coming your way. In those last moments, you just let go, and live every last second a thousand time more. Maybe that's what Podrick gave with that song that marked me. A small moment of beauty in a dark night, with death at the door.

Here’s head cannon or actual canon if the entire fandom decides it: First some fixes. Ghost is inside the crypts protecting the women with Sam. The military formation is fixed and executed effectively with a proper commander in charge, you pick. As the battle picks up, Bran says to Theon, “I’ll be going now” to SURPRISE SURPRISE, enter into Jon’s dragon. An intense battle takes place in the sky with the Knight King getting the better of the two dragons, but with Bran flying Jon’s dragon, he had better control and managed to bite and claw the creature into the grounds, tumbling the riders onto the floor. Bran as the dragon, flys away on a chase with the blue dragon as Jon and the Night King tank it out with their swords somewhere in the chaos. Ultimately, Dany arrives to help but ends up getting stabbed by the Night King, but she survives barely; Drogon swiftly wrecks the Night King hard enough with his tail that he gets thrown across the field. In the black skies we can see Blue flame and red flame from the two clashing dragons. At this point, the night king draws his spear out and kills the dragon as it’s distracted AKA BRAN in warg form. Suddenly, the entire night king army (which is at this point inside, absolutely slaughtering everyone), stop and stand in silence. No one knows what happened but a part of Bran was killed. He collapsed in his seat, into another coma. The dragon crashed down into the woods. The Night King and his army suddenly walk towards the dragon, which had a part of Bran in it. He had him, a part of him. Winter fell was fallen, but this time they had a chance to escape. Within a few hours, the remainder of the men and women quickly fled with horses and wagons, hours if not days went by as the night kings army did not commence the battle. They had the first half of what they wanted, they had Bran. It was only time until they had all of him. Now bran is in this catalytic state unable to do anything, another coma. Dany And Jon take Bran with them on Drogon. Much less time is available to mourn. They barely survived. Now they headed South to Kings Landing. Cersei has to make a decision to let them in, after seeing the horrors of their faces, and the face of Jamie pale as a ghost, she knew it was the end of them all. She opened the doors, one of the first and only redeeming thing she did this season so far. She realised that the only hope for her child to survive is if they form an alliance. So! This time in the defences of this wall, Tyrion is employed to use Wild Fire, Bran was hidden (he was having fits now as his eyes turned blue and opened wide like one of the undead, the dragon was being resurrected)... Meanwhile other clans also rode south, fearful for their survival, ravens were sent to them and to all enemy and allied houses to flee South after winter fell was destroyed. Now they had a larger army than before as it seems that most of whatever was left of Westeros regrouped at Kings Landing for a final showdown between the living and the dead. This was no longer a battle for the throne, but for life. This was the epic battle that Aegon spoke of, the Targaryen that will unite the 7 kingdoms to fight the undead. Eventually, the war begins as an army as large as the sea could be seen, bringing with them 2 dragons. The one with a part of Bran in it, was flying the Night King. The war begins and this time only Dany gets onto Drogon since she had more experience, this time she was fighting alone in the sky with her son. It’s was a massacre to say the least, both above and below. Drogon suffering greatly but he continues to fight like a beast, pretty much manhandling the two other dragons at times but it was definitely a losing battle, thankfully Bronn was also firing with the cross bolts with his men, though they fired only when the site was clear of Drogon. Think this to the level of Return of the King, Battle of Helms or Deathly hallows part 2, a huge carnage happens everywhere. Chaos inside and outside the city gates. Tyrion commanding alongside Bronn and Mormont at various vantage points with Wildfire and commanding their forces, Jon (and Jamie & a few others) busy with NIGHT KING’S SOLDIERS (forgot what you called them), absolutely getting tumbled but managing to take out several of them. Breanne gets stabbed by one of them and Podrick tries to help but gets killed, Jamie enraged manages to help her out of the pit she was in, both in shock and tears tumbling down her eyes. Meanwhile the blue eyed Bran is shaking violently as Sansa was trying to comfort him. He was losing himself the closer the night king go to him. “Sansa. Find Jon. Tell him, he must kill me (whatever dragon he warged into.). Drogon will not survive with me still alive in Viserys” (This is to kill the Bran inside the dragon, which seemed to bring more power and ruthlessness to it over Dany and Drogon). With that message, he returned to his sickening sleep. Sansa rushed out to find Jon, she knew these walls much better now but the undead were roaming free, one of them fell down from the roof and crashed onto the chaotic scene, she screamed and ran and ended up clashing into the Hound. “Little bird, what are you doing!” He saved her life and quickly took her to the other side of the city where Jon was regrouping. At this point Drogon had killed the other dragon, injuring its wing but still flying, bleeding heavily though. The Night King was no where to be seen now, so she searched for him while torching some of the undead that entered the city. Tyrion had lit up some of the last Traps of wildfire, a sea of green explosions blazed the army but even then, they were far too many now, even more than before. Several of them managed to attack him, only for Bronn to kick them off and they retreated to fight once again with Mormont. Sansa finally meets with Jon, along with Arya who was a killing machine, using the castle’s walls as advantage like Bran used to when he climb. She was like a killer assassin, but even she couldn’t hold them all off on her own. Sansa told Jon about it and Jon was hesitant, he didn’t realise that maybe it would affect Bran. He didn’t want to but was eventually forced as more men came inside injured, Drogon’s roar heard in the skies. They are going to lose this war he realised, not unless the Night King was stopped once an for all. But for that, he needed to be in the ground and exposed. “How many dragon glass bolts are there?” he asked Bronn. “3. But those flying fookers burnt 9 of the arrows to shit. Only one remains on the top of the watch tower”. Jon ordered him and Mormont to head up and Tyrion to lead the support team alongside The Hound and several others. Anyway, at some point the Night King’s dragon reappeared and Bron started shooting, trying his best to not get Dany. The night king noticed how close it got, and headed directly for the kill. Born being cocky Bron, awaited for the him to get close enough, at which point he accepted this shitty death, he wanted to go down taking the foooker out. 2 misses but the last one was shot! Whilst the dragon blades the entire tower into the ground, with Bron inside it. The dragon roared in pain as Bran screamed inside, both crashing into the floor with the night king in the central area. More of the Soldiers arrived, just destroying everything and everyone. Their King was in the middle of it all! [More later]

For those that didn't know this song could be the basis for another House of the Dragon story... the reign of Aegon V. But maybe it would be too tragic even for HBO.

In the old GoT, people would have gone into the next episode ready to lose at least half of the characters shown here if not more. Knowing how everything went to hell for the last 2 seasons already, the tension was much lower as the show forgot how to keep the body count high enough for people to worry much even before the big battle of the ages. The super big decisive battle that had every single relevant character there except 2, and we lost how many of them? 2 or 3, don't really remember anymore. What I do remember is many characters being surrounded, downright burried, by the armed undead and making it out just fine, not to mention the dumb decision making, shitty pacing, everything being too dark to follow whats going on, and how nothing about the Night King was actually explained in the end.

I know the last season overall was poorly written and plotted. But it had moments like this that reminds fans how good GoT was ..

I firmly believe this is why the pleasure girls at Kings Landing gave him his money back. He didn’t have sex with them, he just chilled with them for a while and when they heard him sing they decided he entertained them more than they entertained him
