Your languid narration, like the last several minutes of this excellent film is pure poetry!

Thank you so much Filip. Poetry is my favourite film of all time and your video really moved me. I am incredibly appreciative of the time and effort you put into this. I would be really interested in hearing what your thoughts are on the shot of Agnes' dog which reverses in the montage in the film's final scene (begins around 24:18 of your video and the reverse occurs around 24:22). Everything in Poetry is so beautifully crafted and Lee Chang-dong is such a meticulous director - I believe it was definitely intentional. What do you think is the meaning of the reversing shot of the dog? I found the following quote from Kelley Dong (writing for Reverse Shot) really interesting: "Children hula-hoop in the streets, students listen to a lecture in a classroom, as the sun sets and life continues. Most significant among these is a shot of Agnes’s dog as it leaps toward a handheld camera, which suddenly reverses as Agnes (carrying on the voiceover for the poem’s second part) declares, “Here I pray / that nobody shall cry.” The movement harkens back to the Lumière brothers’ 1895 Demolition of a Wall, in which a wall is taken apart and then, through a reverse motion, becomes whole. That film heralded cinema’s access to unprecedented temporal and spatial dimensions, and Poetry’s echo of the shot proposes that cinema itself rejects the finitude of despair. This then continues into the breaking of the fourth wall in Lee’s final shot. We see Agnes leaning over the bridge to look at the water below. But sensing a presence, she turns to face the camera, then smiles. Lee cuts to the water as seen in the film’s opening, but this time there is no body."

Wow...Thank you for this experience. I watched this while nature birds sang on a separate screen and your voice blended so well that momentarily, I genuinely thought that those sounds were a part of your video. I was so very soothed listening to your graceful narration and additions to of one of my favorite films.. As another commenter described, your video is pure poetry.💙
