They didn't make these spaces they're trying to deny to transgender women, and most of normal and rational women don't mind sharing them with their trans sisters. There are actually a lot of trans women that look like women , they don't dress up in drag like you imagine, and they are more beautiful that some actual 'women' , meaning that I seen a lot of women that do not look like women. So if a woman has a vagina she is normal, but not a penis? What if the woman has downs syndrome? She's not a women. I do not think anyone in Canada is actually doing anything to make it better, you are all focused on preaching your views. I'm sure many woman have homes and they know how to use a rest room and they do not care about any of you men.

If the arguments for not accepting trans women in female sports is the performance inequalities, shouldn't women with intrinsically higher testosterone levels/longer wingspan etc be excluded as well? The washroom issue has been going on for decades - really a non issue for most as women's washrooms do not have urinals, and all stalls are private. It became an issue when publicized by the government as a "right" and predatory men realized they could enter and take their phones with cameras along. Everything changed though (for me) when women's change rooms were also OK to access, at pools or gyms with showers, women of all ages, including girls walk around in the nude. There is no way anyone with a male body & parts should be in these areas. Every woman has right to decide who can see her naked body.

My sister was in a toilet stall and a self identifying Trans woman was in the stall next to her and tried to sneakily video her under the stall. When she called security and confronted "her", "she" denied it and accused my sister of being transphobic. That's what women are dealing with.

My family and I stand with Pierre in this matter. Taking the position of Trudeau in this context has been shown to be problematic to the point where the benefits are outweighed by the costs. Some lines shouldn't be crossed.

I don't think he's trying to "pick a fight with trans kids." Poilievre is standing up for women's rights. As a woman, I'm very happy to have spaces designated for biological women only (I know I wouldnt want to have to change in front of a biological male or see them changing.) He's got my vote.

I'm in there with you and you don't notice because I'm post-op and I blend well. I also play in a women's slow pitch league. No one knows my medical history and no one shall.

Not only that, but the WHO and many other medical authorities in other countries around the world agree. What is also agreed between all doctors in Canada are Standards of Practice. These also pertain to transgender children. Do not get between parents and their children's medical decisions - how would you like that to happen to you? Leave trans kids alone, please.

50 years ago was helping a friend at a farm outside of Oshawa. We were getting an old pot belly stove from a farmhouse that had been operating for over 100 years. Old farmer (70 years young) commented that he finally got indoor plumbing in the family homestead, and that they had finally got an indoor toilet. He kept remarking - "still can't get use to the idea of shitting inside the house, there's just something wrong with that !..." ~ ideas change with time
