Hi! As the game is finally officially available, I've decided to share my own experience from the game from beginning to End.
I did absolutely everything from the game, recorded all the important stuff. If you don't want to get spoiled althought it's from a game that already existed, don't go on the internet.
I hope you appreciate my videos content, not an easy task to do but I'm here now.

For those confused this is the Battle Tower! It's only 1 facility and 1 Frontier Brain opposed to Battle Frontier with multiple Frontier Brains and Facilities specializing in different battle styles.

@@Apfelmelonenmann GamefrEAk's leader still directed this game, and that meme goes out the window given that they gave us Gym Leader and League refights (arguably some of the best since they have competitive teams) along with some other stuff that wasn't in DP. Also keeping permanent EXP Share.

the first Palmer battle is a HUGE spike compared to everything else. Most mons aren't even evolved and BOOM Palmer starts wrecking your face.

It's kind of funny how even in the original Diamond and Pearl Palmer didn't have his own theme, but it is still weird that they used Cynthia's theme. I would have loved to hear a Remastered Sinnoh Frontier Brain Battle theme, but I'm not going to lose sleep over it when I can still enjoy the original and the remixes made by wonderful musicians on the internet.

Critical hits. Always come when you don’t need them, always come when you opponent needs them. Unless you are building a Pokémon around critical hits (like Sniper-Scope Lens-Cross Poison/Night Slash Drapion)

Wait... Why does Rhyperior have Ice Beam instead of Ice Punch? I know that Ice Beam is stronger, but it isn't that big of a jump (90BP vs 75BP). But the fact that Rhyperior's Attack is almost THRICE as big as Special Attack (140 Attack vs 55 Special Attack)... Ice Punch would be much more effective... 96% of the time

Sometimes trainers will tech super effective moves with the inferior offensive stat to clip defensive walls built to tank those super effective hits on the other end. Like a bulky defensive garchomp is more likely than a bulky special defensive garchomp.

Most Pokémon that can tank Quakeslide will normally be stuff like Garchomp and Landorus-T who can get bypass easily with Ice Beam instead of ice punch even Gliscor

I hate to be the guy to call it lazy, because it's obvious the higher-ups probably made most of the bad decisions in these remakes, but wowee could you at least remix the best fucking battle theme in Gen 4? I actually like a lot of the music I've heard so far as opposed to ORAS but the lack of Platinum features and overall baby mode these games have is just too much. GameFreak and these new guys are on the tightest leash ever and I'm so sick and tired of it.

I'm glad that Diamond and Pearl, the games that laid the groundwork for quite a few mechanics going forward in the franchise, got remakes. I'm still salty that they're almost a 1 to 1 translation of what we got from vanilla D/p and having most of the battle frontier axed.

wtf when i fight his milotic its hypnosis never misses, same thing with its hydro pump. almost like it has 100 accuracy for every move. I try thunder and i miss twice in a row.

In the original diamond and pearl games Palmer doesn’t have his own music theme, he has the same as Cynthia…

Can someone explain something to me? I’m thinking of getting the 4 star trainer card and one of the requirements is beat Palmer in Masters in the Battle Tower. Is it like regular singles where he appears at battle 21 and 49? Or is he the absolute last opponent? Not enough information gathered at the moment

I can't beat Palmer. And I had no idea his Milotic had Hypnosis. If you beat Palmer, will you gain access to the rest of the island? (Princess Tutu for Super Smash Bros.!)

That was all luck… even with 2 double teams set up I don’t get a single miss. I’ve tried like 10 times with different strats 😢 Edit: I caught a shiny dragonaire with hidden ability and great stats in speed, attack, HP, and special attack in Sun/moon and transferred over. I maxed out the attack EVs and put the last EVs into sp. def and def. Dragonite with its hidden ability is a monster. I can now wipe the entire team with my single dragonite.

Him getting Cynthia's music feels so off. Even in original DP it felt off. Barry's music would fit him better.

Could have just used waterfall on quagsire for a 4x hit with stab because both rock and ground are weak to water where ice beam isn't strong against rock and isn't stab

Faithful remake. And by faithful, they really mean copy paste 99% of it. I actually just learned that the frontier brain theme is a Platinum theme, not DP. In DP, he uses Cynthia's theme too

@@sonario6489 Yeah, but still there's no excuse to not have their theme into the game! The whole game is just recycled and the devs somehow made it worse than the original so much so that' it's criminal!

@@dominicperez3777 This is a Diamond and Pearl remake, not Platinum. Remakes almost never actually change up the og content if it's already in, which Palmar having Cynthia's theme was. While there is Platinum content in the game, it's obviously all new content. When you face Giratina in Turnback Cave, it even plays the sinnoh legendary theme like in the original, only in the NEW Shadow Giratina fight in totally not Pal Park does it play Giratina's signature theme from Platinum.
