Looking forward to part 3. How many people do you normally draft with for your cube?

6 is the ideal group, but it works with 4 or even 8. Typically we do packs of 15.

Which sets should I look at to make a cube from scratch from?

It all depends on how you want to build it. If you want it to be singleton, you're gonna be looking at a lot of different sets. You could also go for a "block" cube.. meaning, sticking to a block of sets.. Sun and moon only, for example. Hope this helps!
