i went back to this playthrough becauase my dad was like "how many years have you been watching chuggaaconroy videos, i bet its probably almost a decade" and i replied "i highly doubt its been that long considering ive been watching him since his pokemon emerald playthrough which was... *proceeds to look it up* 8 years ago" and he said that he was close. anyway this made me want to rewatch this playthrough again

I come back to this LP every 2 years and play it in the backround because it reminds me of the simpiler days when the only worries i had was what was the menu for dinner. Thank you Emile for this it means a lot to a lot of people.

There was a solid 5 or six months of my life that consisted of coming home and putting this series and ssohpkc's pokemon vids on my laptop in the background and playing pokemon games on gameboy. I'm not one to cry, but god damn thinking about that brings on tears. Good shit man.

Still the greatest pokemon game in my opinion, ah the nostalgia.

Chugga was so much more calm sounding back then, i never noticed at the time but somehow he just seemed to slowly get more and more excited sounding as time went on. also got better mics as time went on.

Something I found out later that blew me away... The main character in Emerald is JOHTONIAN. It's not mentioned in Emerald, but ΩR has an NPC that mentions Norman moving with his family from Johto. Norman is your father.

Crazy to think in a month or so that this will be 12 years old. I remember learning about chugga as a kid when I was playing more pokemon games and wanted some background noise. After uncovering an older video of his I found out that we had something in common and in a way I looked up to Chugga since then. Now I’m 23, doing really good in life and still playing Pokemon and games I love and adore! So thank you for accompanying me on my journeys and adventures chugga! Thank you for all the memories! I have recently had an anxiety attack, and I came back to this video, because of nostalgia. Emile always makes me feel good, because I end up laughing and getting better. I live with 6 people in the house, and it gets rowdy. I snapped because of their fighting and ended up getting hit and yelled at my my young cousin. I cried for almost 10 minutes, with nobody coming to my aid. I ended up coming to this video, and got better. Thank you Emile Sincerely, A depressed hypocrite.

"Daughter of God." Reminds me of the story line of this awesome game called Fantasy Life.

I miss this play through, it was uploaded towards the end of my junior year. That was a pretty rough year for me. It was nice coming home and seeing a new episode uploaded. I could just forget about the bullshit in my life for about 20 minutes. Not to mention this game was a major part of my childhood. This game will always be one of my favorite games, and my favorite pokemon game.

I emulated this game when I was in middle school, I've decided to watch this Let's Play to see what old Chuggaa thinks about it and how it compares to how I remember it.

I never noticed that the character's headband is different depending on what version you play (Red = Ruby Blue = Sapphire Green = Emerald).

I have not seen this video in four years! I have alot of memeories from watching Chugga's Emerald series. I just recently introduced one of my longtime friends to Pokemon with this game on my GBA SP. He absolutely loved it. It was a great feeling.

Pokémon is very much my number one special interest, it has been a constant in my life all these years. Hell, Absol is my favorite Pokémon because of this series. I watched this whole series and loved it back in 2012, I'm re-watching it!!! So excited!!

I'm playing Alpha Sapphire, which is my first Pokémon game ever. (My family wasn't terribly impressed by the franchise in the 90's, partly because we were Sega people and partly because our first impressions of it was the anime, which my parents didn't care for, so we didn't watch it.)But yeah, I chose Torchic for my starter, too! :D I nicknamed it Torchica before I realized it was a boy. Changed his name to Roman when I reached the name rater, because...Roman Torchic...RWBY fans will understand. :) Even though he had evolved by that time.My plan, though, is to eventually have my entire team made up of Eeveelutions. Because I'm a little obsessed with them...I just collected all the plushies from Walmart. lol

In your honor, Chuggaa, I caught a Zigzagoon on my pokemon X and nicknamed it Slavinator and traded it over wonder trade :3

This playthrough was what made me want to play past gen 2 when I got back into Pokémon on emulators. It's also one of the reasons I plan to start making my own videos on Pokémon - hands down the best let's plays on KZfaq. Love your presentation and adore your enthusiasm!
