Well it is implied that ORAS takes place in an alternate universe. The one's we saw in Ultra Sun and Moon are likely the original variants from the original Ruby and Sapphire

Archie's design and characterization in ORAS will always be top tier. I've recently replayed Alpha Sapphire and it really rekindled feelings of why I love gen 3 and sapphire storyline so much. Also QOTD: my favorite dual type for water pokemon has always been Kingdra and for solely water type it'd have to be Milotic for now. I mean I love a lot of water pokemon but most are dual types haha

This is actually Archie from the original timeline where his plan succeeded. He has no Mega Sharpedo or Primal Kyogre , this is the Archie from the original R/S/E.
