(exception for gift/trade)
2. No Healing Items in Battle

5. Level Cap = Next Leader's Ace

X scisor wasnt súper efective on the final reuniclus cause it's fused with sylveon and fairy resist bug, funny fact that eevee is based on the one from the manga that can swap what eeveelution it is each battle thats why it switch from umbreon during ur figth in silph to espeon when going against Giovanni

Volcarona itself makes some pretty cool fusions, I did a volcarona fusion only nuzlocke and fused it with a Gardevoir and Charizard.

Ah yes the Snorlax/Forretress fusion just exploding Zapmulcuno like that. Perfect. His sacrifice was worth it. Aside from that Goggles, Viral, Mothix, Sumo, Hummingbird, and Venuralith are my favorite bug fusions. Even if half of them didn't show up cause your video crashed. Either way well done showing that bugs are powerful! Also that twist you did there with Rando..my goodness that was creative. In fact love the foreshadowing you did when he saw the Beenape when you 2 fought Giovanni.

Honestly the Forretress zapmolcuno strat is my new go to. I knew I wanted to do SOMETHING with the bee movie memes, but I don’t know how I’d get there. I’m glad it kinda came together when I realized I cut the Bill footage from the story.

Honestly the more you learn the fights, the easier it gets. I’ve beaten the first half of this game like… so many times! In Johto I’m totally lost. Also recognizing the weaknesses your team has is huge, you’ll always prepare yourself for offensive coverage, but think about how your team would do if someone was preparing to fight you.

Sort of. I use the magic boots which give you access to debug mode. You get them for catching all 420 of the base form pokemon (so before 6.0). There’s also a link on the Reddit for a save file that has them already

Hey, I've used a Yanmega/Charizard in my own mono-bug run, and that Venomoth/Flygon in a "non existent double types" run. Anyway, nice video.

You know nuzlockes are what I do my guy! A story driven game I’ve never played before will likely not be a nuzlocke. But something like this - it’ll probably be a nuzlocke every time.

I promise you this is a tough challenge if you don’t cheat so much 😂 no hate, it’s a kids game where we’re adding our own challenge at the end of the day but if you don’t give yourself a pinsir that isn’t normally obtainable by that point in the game getting past misty with bug types is a CHALLENGE. Gyarados passes on flying type and worse stats to anything that isn’t mono or secondary bug, and either way your options aren’t great that early unless you pull the 5% heracross one on a million times chance instead of the yanma thats like 25% encounter there that you just gave yourself at the start 😂 Hera gyara is a decent mon but bug/flying and weak to misty. I used a custom starter and chose caterpie, and it took me 3-4 failed runs and some crit dodging to just get past misty. That fully evolved lapras mantine is just simply a stat block that early in the game, poses a real threat with the resources you have available if you don’t just give yourself Pokémon for free. If you try to use the lycanroc from the secret garden the bubblebeams eat you up, I ended finding a decently consistent method cursing up and Mach punching with pyukumuku/ledian but I don’t think I was able to one shot it we had to dodge crit/taking too much damage on the glaceary for sure or you still just wipe 😭😂

Thanks for the feedback, so I play the monotype runs like this on purpose. Playing it straight would definitely be harder, especially for a weaker type like bug but I want to make sure of a few things. I want every run has a different team, and I want to showcase as many different sprites as I can. Since I don’t allow myself to unfuse anyone giving myself a bigger pool at the beginning let’s me use stuff most ppl will never use on their own runs. That being said, ya things like Gyarados/Pinsir have a 500+ BST early and that’s a little cheesy, but you get a Gyarados in the normal games so I’d be around 500 anyways. My other runs with a more spread BST are def harder in the early game like fire, normal and electric. Now that the 6.1 modern mode has an even wider encounter pool if I redo these challenges I’d reconsider HOW I’m doing them. But for what I already have recorded this was the best way to show off as many unique teams as possible.

Usually for the monotypes I stick with modern mode, so it’s more difficult than classic, but you can still strategize for it. But randomized can sometimes be a bit more fun with the chaos.

If you google “infinite fusion magic boots save file” it’s the top Google result and has step by step instructions. It’s what I used and it’s wicked easy. No cheat engine required.
