@@jasongodek9828 back when I was a dumb kid I couldn’t win for a while because I kept trying to use my Venusaur against Charizard and the only attack I used was Razor Leaf. I finally got the bright idea to training something else and won. I called my best friend at like 5 am in the morning ecstatic that I beat it. ( I was 9 ).

Honestly as a kid I had a much harder time with blue than I did cynthia Mostly cus I was stubborn and I loved articuno and I decided it would be a great idea to solo the elite four and champion with it

@@YTSeiyaGoFireI mean for Gen 1 that isn’t too bad of an idea since Articuno’s special stat is 125, it gets Blizzard-which is amazing due to its higher accuracy, and it matches up really well against half of Blue’s team and most of Lance’s. The issue is trying to use it in every other match since it doesn’t have great attack or Drill Peck so Bruno is actually a challenge; Agatha is always annoying with anything short of Mew, Mewtwo, Kadabra, or Alakazam so good luck; and Lorelei will just walk you out. Certainly possible with enough grinding-but if you want to sweep the Elite 4 with a single mon, use either a glitched lv100 Mew, a glitched Mewtwo, a Glitched lv100 Gengar, or a Nidoking

I remember playing Pokemon Red, fully unaware that, after beating Lance, I'd face Blue. Somehow, I entirely didn't realize that he'd be the champion, naturally. I only had a single, barely alive pokemon at that time. Then this theme played and I swear, this version absolutely captures that feeling of perfectly. He crushed me in seconds. When I returned, this theme became legendary to me. To this day, I think it's the best pokemon battle theme out there. And you did it incredible justice!

While I do like the ideas of U/SM and SS having "your" theme as the Champion theme, they're both rather anemic - not helped by SS having zero bass in its music. Go boost the bass on any of the battle themes by 15dB or so and watch as the song completely changes. Meanwhile all the pixel-era games' champion themes are varying types of "here comes a powerful trainer" ...sans Alder, but he's at least upfront with the fact he's doing it more for fun nowadays
