Can I beat a Pokemon White 2 Egglocke andHardcore Nuzlocke challenge in Black and White 2 using only YOUR eggs?
Nuzlocke rules:
Fainted Pokemon must be permanently boxed
Only the first encounter on any given route may be caught (dupes clause)
All pokemon must be nicknamed
Hardcore Rules:
Always Set mode
No items from the bag option in battle (held items are ok)
No overleveling the next gym leader
#pokemon #nuzlocke #egglocke

Antlerboy: Meaning with just one Electrode left I manged to beat a Pokémon White 2 Hardcore Egglock. Not the hero we deserved but the hero we needed.

Even if Drapion had used Earthquake against Aggron, it would've done nothing because Aggron had Levitate.

You guys should give "Scott's Thoughts" a chance, his channel has kinda blown up these last months He mostly does solo runs on gens 1-3, but his content is top notch, his overlay and arts are incredible and he is absolutely commited to extracting the best from every mon

I think it's important that he uses them all so he doesn't get to just ignore the bad pokemon. getting stall electrode is bad but if he doesn't have to use it all it does is eat an encounter. this way he actually has to use it as part of his team. it also stops him just using the amazing pokemon he gets which he would if he wanted to win

Antler's gotta do more of these "Viewers choose the Eggs Nuzlocke" because 1. It is entertaining (as one should expect from an AntlerBoy upload) 2. I was contemplating on sending one as well The MVP of the run is a toss-up between Rex the Haxorus for clutching the late-game and Romulus the Empoleon for clutching the early to mid-game. I enjoyed Moody Zoroark, the Technician Trio, and Hustle Bibarel (and the Arcoos nickname which I think the one that sent it watches MandJTV regularly)

Interesting Hardcore Nuzlocke Idea: Get a random number Generator and roll 6 different numbers and you can only use that pokemon and its evolution line the entire game (HM Slaves included). If you get a pokemon that can evolve in 2 different lines (Such as Wurmple), you can choose either evolution line. If none of the pokemon are available before the first gym, then you can only use your starter up to the first pokemon you catch.

Might I recommend a 'statlock'? Spin a Roulet to see what stat you're looking for, from hp to speed, attack+defense with their special counterparts, just go ahead and look at your encounters, look at their final evolutions, and whatever has the highest number in that base stat is the mon you catch. I did that in X and Y with defense and sp.attack respectively and now I'm doing a pokemon moon nuzlocke with pokemon that have a good speed stat. That forced my starter to be rowlett because he actually has the highest base speed, but that also made me catch an alolan meowth, a pichu, a zubat, a freaking bagon, an oricorio, a rockruff, and a cutiefly. All decent mons before the second island!

Hey Antlerboy. I have a suggestion for new challenges: Single-type challenge. Put it simply you can only use pokemon with 1 type. Opposite the Mono-type challenges where you use pokemon with that 1 specific type + maybe 1 more. "What if a pokemon evolves into a pokemon with 2 types?": In that case i´d say its a no-go but it´ll be up the challenger him/herself. I think the challenge will still be just as easy/hard as the other challenges you make. I have suggested this idea to other nuzlockers I watch too

Some abilities just make you not care about making sacrifice plays that aren't strictly necessary. Truant and slow start absolutely are shining examples of that. The almost wipe with the technician squad was definitely a little blundering though.

23:15 bro forgot he has lievitate as an Ability. Cool that you had basically half of iris team, but couldn't you have put less limiting rules on the egg you could hatch? I mean, it's interesting having to take hustle bibarel and stall electrode to the league but idk, maybe i'm just jealous that i put 6 pokemon, 3 of which weren't even that interesting (i put 2 archens lmao, filter lileep because i didn't realize it still had a gen 3 tier learnset and two wonder guard pokemon tho i tried to at least be a bit original with those)and none of them showed up. 33:40 ok, now i'm hyped.
