Join me as I travel the region of Unova only using pokemon from outside the region. So many genwunners out there claim that the newer pokemon suck, so I'm here to try and get in their mindset and use the oldies. Do you think I have what it takes to beat this run? Come find out!

It could happen. In the indigo disk, there is a specifc interaction in the club room that hints to the pwt. And the way it was worded could only imply a pwt in a game that is after black and white 2

Vespiquen has always been an underrated Pokemon. Honestly, it’s probably my favorite bug type besides maybe Heracross. I’ve used one in Platinum and it’s a boss Pokemon.

I didn’t mention this in the video, but I think the only option I had in the outer grass there is Mareep, but if we went for riolu inside, we would’ve had to do the rival fight with sunkern alone, which I’m not sure if that would’ve been possible

People swear by gen 1 because we are old and that’s what Pokémon looked like to us and the designs have changed over time which is hard to digest.. I’m mainly a fan of gen 1-3 but there’s good mons in every gen

Yeahhhh I think the grass I got Malcontent in only had mareep there, the problem is I would’ve had to take on the rival with sunkern alone if I wanted to go for the other grass, and I don’t think that would’ve been possible with even worse moves than what I had for the gym!

Yeah exactly it’s a bit frustrating, I get the idea of having those late evos for pokemon found later in the game, but like at that point nobody is adding Rufflet to their team right before the elite 4

@@superlombax1561 The problem with gen 5 is that you get so many mons way to late in the game and at that point why bother. I already have a full team I don't wanna grind up another Mon just for the pokemon league. Gen 7 had jangmo-o only available in vast poni canyon but by the time you get it you basically get kommo-o after 2 levels making it easy to fit on teams

Okay, the foolish decisions aside, why would you give a MODEST-nature Raticate a flame orb when it has Guts for its ability?! The flame orb was made for Milotic and any other SpAtk Pokemon whereas the toxic orb was made for Guts Pokemon! Burn halves the Atk and Raticate is a physical mon and yours already has an Atk lowering nature! What the heck dude?!

Ima be real with you cheif, when you said “evs are important” near the end, i was kinda like “i knew him not actually grinding to get EVs would bite him in the butt”. Do yourself a solid: Actually work for your levels and EVs. Cheating is cringe, hard work and grinding is based.
