Honestly this game is one of my most favorite pokemon generations, they outright made pretty awesome pokemon, they also made evolutions for some older generations and I think that has to happen to more pokemon that never had an evolution before, plus the gym leaders in each town were exceptional and badass

I will admit, "Sword Arm Online" was clever

This game makes me so nostalgic, it was the first Pokemon game I ever played: I borrowed it from the local video store right after I got my ds lite and played the whole game as quickly as possible so I could finish it before I had to return it. Chimchar was my starter because I loved him in the tv series and wanted one of my own, and I cried so hard when I had to give the game back bc I was sad about losing my "friends". A few months later my mum bought me my own copy of the game for my birthday
