Well, i think you're a blind nostalgic Pokemon anime fan who thinks the humor in indigo and johto leagues were more aimed at a teenage audience and while the newer seasons were aimed at children audience. Well i honestly think the newer seasons of the Pokemon anime has humor that were aimed at not just kids or teens, the humor in newer season of the Pokemon anime was at everyone. And also, did you know that Pokemon Horizons really lacks humor? Pokemon Horizons absolutely has no humor at all which is really disappointing.

Actually in the games that only happens if you get a pokemon during a trade but Ash's Charmander was abandoned by his old trainer same thing happened with Ash's Chimchar in the Sinnoh league but Monferno and Infernape always listen to Ash

The fact that this compilation is entirely from the first few seasons of the show says a lot. The first few seasons are the best; I feel like nowadays it's aimed more towards little kids. Pokemon has always been kid-friendly, but the show back then appealed to ALL, not just kids. Also, you know it was good when Brock was voiced by none other than the legendary and over-the-top Seto Kaiba 😎

Hey, remember when the previous seasons of the Pokemon anime used to have humor, cartoony expressions and funny moments? Well, unfortunately those are gone now because Pokemon Horizons has none of that which is really disappointing i have to say. The previous seasons of the Pokemon anime has humor, cartoony expressions and funny moments while Pokemon Horizons doesn't, that's just sad really.
