I don't know if anyone has already commented, but the character Evreth is inspired by the character Edward Grenore, or known as Add from the game Elsword, being more specific, his second class lineage. It even matches the theme of this game as he (in one of his lineage) searches for a multiverse where he is with his mother alive.

That cliffhanger in the end is an immediate red flag and for those already watched Re:Creators, that Scarlet Queen is no good human being. I don't like where this goes in the next chapter. The Scarlet Queen is named Altair and she's the MISSUNDERSTOOD villain in the Re:Creators anime.

19:45 the sprite used was Marduk from the original Bakugan battle Brawlers video game which is the 2D art version. the mask is a dead giveaway. also other anime characters. I swear if there is a sequel to this game and they add Goku, Naruto, Monkey D Luffy, Jotaro and any of the following shonen jump characters I will be smiling and grinning with an excited feeling

It was fun to see buddyfight placed in the game, it was a really underrated series and was canceled to early I believe. Better then vanguard atleast.
