I ship misty and ash. In my opinion, Serena is way too kind and get flustered too easily. It seems like that it would be hard for her to focus on something when ash is around. But misty has a tsundere attitude and she can be very kind. She may sometimes be rude to ash, but many people act rude to friends or crushes to show they care. She is also super confident and even though she doesn't like bugs, she can sometimes push that fear aside and focus on what's important to her. This is my opinion and if you don't agree then that is perfectly fine and I support you. But please don't hate on me

I agree too. Serena would never be able to handle the rude, obnoxious, bratty, insulting Ash from the earlier gens. Can you imagine what Serena would do if Ash roasted her like he roasted Misty? She would cry and take her crush back. And Ash didn’t care, he would roast all sorts of people, it was just who he was as a person. You gotta appreciate Misty’s strength, how she handled him and how she supported Ash and helped him become a better person. She was bratty too, and Ash helped her grow too. I think that is a stronger relationship than any of the above. You deserve a person only if you have been with them through their lowest points.
