I look forward for Gamefreak to release the statistics of how the players answered, i voted Larry as best gym leader and i hated it when Geeta looked at me in disapproval (she is evil, promoting toxic work environment and exploiting everyone because she wants to Make Paldea Great Again or something) >:/ i´ll be happy if Larry appears as the most liked gym leader, he is ICONIC, but then again there is Gamefreak, they´ll probably rig the results and say the best gym leader was Iono because they invested too much in promoting her and they want to appeal to younger audiences since they take us millenials for granted XD but Larry is Larry and i hope to see him in the DLC and in the anime :) or probably with his own minisode like in Generations or Wings of Twilight

Actually, when I looked closely when the player says their favourite gym leader is Larry. Geeta shakes her head but when she stopped, she has a smile. I don't think she hates Larry, but I think she just appreciates him, I think.

Just a random theory: You know that there are theories that said Geeta is actually evil? What if in DLC, she is evil, and Larry is secretly an agent or something similar (despite his normalness) who tailed her to get information or foiled her plan. Geeta have a hunch about it, but because she have no evidences, she can't incriminate him. Thus making her dislike Larry.

Larry should’ve been the champion, when fighting the elite four I came in blind. If he fought me with his normal types I would’ve actually lost because I had no idea what normal types were weak too until I fought Larry, and when they surveyed me for elite four Larry gave me the most trouble (but I am a Gruasha fan)

Lol I dunno why many don't like Geeta. I love her though she is actually letting Larry to do less overtime but Larry just so workaholic plus her new team is a threat.

Larry isn't very passionate, motivated, or even very friendly, so I can see why Geeta has had enough of him.

Geeta hate Larry ? Well tough luck some gym Leader hate her too: Katy is disappointed by the fact Sexy Geeta ask her to go easy with the challengers (i can understand the obese Baker insect gym-leader cyz i hate hide my strengh too), Tulip don't like Geeta cuz she have a huge bewitching aura and crush her with her charisma/Strengh. Larry despise her cuz Geeta forced him to change his predilection type (well i can understand Larry nobody love see his habits being changed). Grusha should be able to brown-nose Geeta cuz he didn't wish lose his gym leader position (once again i can understand his fear). Maybe Rika and Hassel love work for her but for the others: no way

Why does Larry get so much praise? He didn’t leave a big impression on me. Kofu and Iono did. If anything, Larry is my least favorite gym leader, not just because Normal is among my least favorite types (even though Porygon-Z is my favorite of said type), but Larry is painfully average. I get that’s a part of his character but he just blends in.
