When done in this style, it's amazing to me how much this sounds like the theme music to some 70's or 80's action TV show. Like, this could easily be the theme from "Magnum P.I." or "C.Hi.Ps" or "The A-Team." Love it!

My god I wish I could play nearly as good as you guys could. I just got into saxophone last year, and I've been absolutely obsessed with it. The main reason why I got into saxophone is because of Leo P. My band teacher showed us one of his videos with Lucky Chops, and I've been absolutely hooked on his style of music for so long, and I hope one day I can get a bari sax, and play like him. That's my dream.

ManDieAllesKan it's actually easier to play altissimo on the lower saxes. i can go higher on my bari than i can on my alto

Bari is comparitavly easy to do altissimo, especialy compared to an alto, leo has also been doing it a reasonably long time and trys way to hard.

Actually they're not doing altissimo it's actually overtones

Dylan Dhuivetter altissimo is performed by using over tones. usually people are actually taught overtone exercises before they begin learning altissimo. altissimo fingerings are simply different ways of playing those same overtones. kind of like how in higher partials trumpet players have more than one fingering for the same note

Good lord, this is incredible! I am massively impressed at both the technical ability and the physical stamina required for this! The breath control is spot on! And you two compliment each other and the entire band perfectly, at no point overpowering or coming in underwhelming - absolute volume mastery. Bravissimo!

haha after listening to this on repeat for like an hour I noticed that at 3:50 you can see Grace laughing about (what seems like) her missed entry at 3:48 after the epic improv duet section. It's neat to me how it just adds tension to the final time she hits the line at 3:57!
