HE'S SAID MORE WORDS SINCE! RED... ;) ALERT our hero has spoken ONCE MORE HALLELUJAH! Also yeah even with Leon and other fire types being added since Red is still one of the best characters, bringing hell fire in a blaze of glory from blast burn.

He actually used the bond phenomenon so much that his insides turned into a Pokemon's insides and he can't talk cause his body doesn't function right

I still say he has selective mutism. I have a very very mild form of it where for me the part of my brain that processess speach and stuff kinda powers down during stress, but I can still force simple thrases if necessary and if I feel safe with people. So this could still be the case here.

I like pokemon origins and the red that doesn't talk because I feel like at a certain point in time red use to talk alot when he was a novice and then after beating and catching everything he sorta stopped talking as much as he got older and head to the mountain to train and then eventually fight Gold,either way I loved pokemon origins and I rly wish we got more of it same with pokemon generations I feel like episode of 1 of pokemon generations showed the continuation of reds story from pokemon origin

Does anyone else love red for being like the original yorichii, aka some dude who is basically god tier and compared to the current strongest is a king next to a peasant but isn’t around anymore or if they are there in some undisclosed location that nobody but god knows.

Just because a game is a spin off doesn't mean it's not canon. At least we got an answer for why Red doesn't talk.

True, it's just with spin offs they their canon should be taken with a grain of salt unless they're included in the main line stuff. However the 2nd anniversary kind of ruins the possibility that it can be canon thanks to N.

Red does talk in the manga And pokemon origins and only Yes and no in the game when people talking to him. But remember the original Red, blue , green and yellow version had limitations. So game freak has no more excuses for not letting him talk in the remakes of pokemon gen 1. But hay that's just game freak being lazy for not having voice in the game it 2021. Will maybe pearl and diamond prequel legend Arceus might have talking like the trailer.
