My craving for a next gen monster catching game is what I’m after and playing Pokémon for all this time I don’t know currently Pokémon is not doing it for me whilst this game Palworld looks so interesting and fun love the Pals and I’m getting an x box series s for this

I like how people thinks Pokemon invented some really basic rpg concepts like having enemy organizations to deal with and lvling up your creatures or even learning skills from lvling up XD Pokemon dont even created the game genre it belongs to (Shin megami tensei made everything before pokemon even existed)

@@unironicallydel7527 Is that really a bad thing? I mean people love jokes, plus.. This game will have mod support in the future, and if Bethesda games can be buggy and joke like, then a game like this could be fixed with mods too. Plus this is still better than the TRASH Gamefreak has been shelling out, got rid of the game corner, got rid of the national dex. As a fan of pokemon, I DESPISE what gamefreak did. Pocket Pair did it justice with this inspired game, that is C&D protected.

@@unironicallydel7527I played craftopia. Knowing that it is probably going to always be incomplete, I'd still pay up to 14 dollars for another chance. I had a lot of fun, and this game is already more advanced in development.

It feels so weird how you keep comparing it to Pokemon like they're doing something wrong. It's a parody. A lot of the pals are intentionally made to look like specific pokemon, but also some are based on Digimon, and some are based on popular fan creations or memes. Even if it wasn't a parody though, it's weird how wrong your understanding of copyright and IP is. They aren't doing anything legally dangerous at all. You should look into those laws, you might be avoiding doing things you think are dangerous or illegal that aren't. The other thing I should mention is that Palworld is a mix of three games, not just two. So, there's the pokemon-style catch and battle, and there's the survival sandbox of games like ARK: Survial Evolved and Conan Exiles, but there's another video where they mention their primary inspiration is games like Rimworld and Dwarf Fortress. Above everything else, this is a colony sim. You can build a peaceful utopian community or you can build a sweatshop and if you want you can do both a little distance from eachother. I don't think you can join any of the badguy 'team rocket' type organizations, but there's several of them, and you could be against them or just be their rival doing the same thing. It's all very exciting.

Yeah never understood people not getting that. The models we can tell it's a ripoff but changed so much it's legally fine. It's the same how Rockstar gets away with car brand designs without getting a lawsuit. Everyone knows the Adder a ripoff of the Bugatti

To be fair pokemon doesn't own the rights to monster catching game. It's like how GTA can get away with their cars without lawsuits from car companies. Unless when it releases it has some sort of pokemon code that can be a lawsuit, but highly unlikely

Looks like the pixelmon guys finally made their own "legally distinct" ip. It was so sad watching the modders fail to understand basic copyright law over and over again. Glad to see at least one group finally overcame the hurdle of not directly using pokemon assets in favor of "inspired by".

13:07 "CT" is "Charging time" - the amount of seconds between shots. Pals don't have a max number of uses for their abilities.

Yeah I don't understand people thinking the basic game features pokemon own. Monsters leveling, um Ark survival lol. The models that look like pokemon have been changed so much it's no longer the same design meaning it doesn't fall under copyright. It's the same how rockstar gets away with car designs of existing brands.

One of the funny things is you can catch a lamb kill the other lambs and feed the lambs you got the flesh of its kin in other words feed lambs lambs meat to gain affection from it making this game darker them Pokémon ever can be lol 😆

Pocket Pair is GREAT I love theses guys.. There first game was a BOTW clone named Craftopia, and I’ve been lit about this for years.. Long story short Pocket Pair to Nintendo is basically what Obsidian is to Bethesda.. The less known but better makers of fun 💯

The days before the Palworld Tsunami... Nobody really expected the massive wave that it created, lol... Some rare Pokemon fans like this channel catch the wind of the game, and totally shocked by the absurdity of the game. Ark players base were busy basing their game as usual (after the Palworld came, the topic of Palworld flooded Ark forums, questioning the ability of Ark developers... Ark players didn't mad at Palworld like many Pokemon fanboys, they got mad at Snail and WildCard instead.) Craftopia players like me thinking about giving the game a month before playing it, believed that it would be as messy as Craftopia Seamless update. Drama KZfaqrs smelled the blood, thought it gonna be another fake game or scam game, hoped that they gonna be the first one on the scene... (They really didn't expect the drama going other way as well as how they helped the game promote more by simply addicted to it...) As someone following the news of Pocket Pair for a long time, i honestly didn't place much hope on Palworld... really thought it gonna flop like Craftopia, lmao

Nintendo can't do shit, they don't own catching monster games. They have changed everything so much it no longer counts as copyright. It's the same as Grand theft auto using car company's cars without getting lawsuits and not having a license. It's also stupid not Palworld as it's a parody but people want pokemon to have competition but if anyone tried to make another monster catching game, everyone will just call it a pokemon ripoff, doing so makes the game fail.
