Poland Air Force Evaluates Possible Acquisition of Embraer C-390 Military Transport Aircraft Poland Ministry of National Defense stated that it is analyzing aircraft for air transport, medium evacuation and aerial refueling, according to the country’s media, Poland has joined the list of countries evaluating a possible acquisition of Embraer C-390 Millennium airlifter.

Greetings from Brazil! There is no confirmation from Embraer about this yet. But it would be great having KC-390/C390 Millennium flying for Poland air force too. I hope the negotiations go well.

Is just a matter of TIME to EMBRAER gives to their NATO operators a engineering solution for a new rear ramp with a hole to pass with a new internal module, to give the needed central flying boom capability...

The empennage section modification is used, not the ramp. (For an A/R boom)

@@pmullins1495 Yes if prouve better there so be it. The upper section must be less problematical to use than the ramp witch is massive... Good choice! The catch is to make one exit and some contraption temporary, like a substitution of one of the two extra tanks used on the normal actual REVO mission. Even with some loss of fuel capacity... The US Agile Tanker project with L3Harris is a PERMANENT REVO solution with boom and all cargo space used to greater fuel capacity...

@@janwitek4817 Well, all c390 buyers use the old Hércules version, Brazil, Portugal, Hungary, Czech Republic, Netherlands, Austria and South Korea.. and decided to adopt the c390 due to a series of factors, cost-benefit, greater load capacity, range, speed, cutting-edge technologies and configurations, among others.Furthermore, the Millenium's engine is the same one used by commercial planes such as the A320neo, which greatly facilitates its maintenance and guarantees a much larger supply chain.. Therefore, all the money spent on staff training is compensable.

C-390 are a very good aircraft, can be used for multiple missions, not to big or small, will be much better with a more fuel efficiency engine, keep up Embraer your E2 passenger aircraft are in the elite

Samolot jest konkurencja dla C-130. Moze jest bardzo ladny ale nie ma sensu w sytuacji gdy Polska ma juz C130E oraz kupila nowe C130J i moze zmodernizuje te juz posiadane. W tym wypadku kupno Embraera, newet jesli jest w Poslce jego serwis nie ma juz dalszego sensu. Polska ma lekkie transportowce C-295M CASA, zakupila samoloty tankowania od Airbusa A330 MRTT. Polska potrzebuje ew. ciezki samolot ktry moze dzwignac nawet czolg lub przynajmniej Kraba lub C-BMP (ktorego jeszcze nie ma). Nie pali sie wiec i obecnie Polska partycypuje w wyporzyczeniu od USA 3 samolotow C-17.
