Polar Bear Nora Squishes And Eats Watermelon

A beary good watermelon!
Though they eat mainly meat, polar bears are opportunistic omnivores. In the wild, they forage for vegetation and berries when they’re in season. At the zoo, Nora and her sister Amelia Gray enjoy crunchy lettuce (and the occasional fresh watermelon)!

Watermelons are like 95% water, so it's really just like drinking with a bit of extra munching. 😁 And squashing them is just fun. I'm not sure if polar bears can taste sweetness, but maybe she finds the texture interesting too.
