Poldark’s Eleanor Tomlinson Stars in New Netflix Adaptation of ‘One Day’ | This Morning

5 ай бұрынStar of Poldark and The Outlaws, Eleanor Tomlinson joins us in studio to tell us about starring in the upcoming adaptation of critically acclaimed novel One Day. It tells the story of students Emma and Dexter, who after graduating go their separate ways, yet over the course of 20 years their lives continue to be entwined. Eleanor will be telling us all about it, as well as reflecting on her time in Poldark and revealing why she needs a lesson in the Brummie accent from our Alison!

Ambika Mod was the star of the show. Surely getting her to promote the show would make more sense. I find the decision not to have her on This Morning very strange.

I think it’s just the way they speak in Birmingham. Obviously, there are Brummies who use correct grammar, but it definitely goes with the dialect.
