Visited the Crawford County administration building. I was met with a unprofessional county manager, Sharon Sanders. She called the police because I was taking pictures and would not give her my last name. Shame on this county manager for acting like this.
Tax Commissioner Patrice Walker was not professional either. I asked to please inform Amanda Dunn that I would be requesting an open record and her response was "no."

Wow man, calm down. Shaniqua here is just irritated because of the ceiling birds in her house chirping every 60 seconds which upsets her sleep. The dayum wypipo put the ceiling birds in every sleeping room, outside every sleeping room, and at least one on each floor of her house.

I live in Upson & they are just as bad if NOT worse. I use to deer hunt in Crawford County-Roberta & Cullen. Gorgeous land.

This was absolutely a clown show by employees, rude, unprofessional, county manager yelling and screaming across the public lobby. Calling police demanding a person to leave violating-there rights , over a simple camera why not be a representative for your community and town hall and the mayors office be polite, respectful, answer any work questions and not refuse service. And continue about your day. Doesn’t that sound like what a public employee working for the public in the public would do and should. I’ve seen some ignorant, arrogant unprofessional people but these were far the worse. The Mayor should be so proud and the community on how City Hall conducted themselves. The only professional person was the officer who upheld the law was cordial, and acted like a adult. These people were unhinged actually scary acting. There’s one thing not to understand something , but there’s another to act like this as a government employee working for the public. Absolutely unacceptable!

You've gotta do this story with her call for emergency services, all recorded police calls concerning the call number and written reports and BWC footage made by the officers who responded. I was just wondering about how long those types of records are kept before destruction vs this production?

I tried to write a complaint on their website. I filled out the information which included my email, name and phone number. I wrote my complaints about this woman and included the link to this audit. Unfortunately they did not accept my email. Perhaps other people can try. Not anybody who really lives there they might cause you trouble. I have a normal email but they did not accept a message from it which is nonsense. Sharon Sanders wanted to hurt this man and used the police as a proxy to do that.

Let’s break this down. A random man comes into your workplace. He’s filming you, your workspace and your coworkers. With everything going on in this world today, you may be thinking-is he making a video to remember the layout of this building for a future plan? The video will show him the cars outside and all the exits of the building. Giving him sufficient information to plan anything he wants to for the building and the people inside. Would you not be a little suspicious? Yes, filming in a public place is legal. However, you absolutely cannot blame the employees for being suspicious of this man’s actions and appearance at their everyday job. I would 100% rather call the police and have them investigate the filming, than I would experience an attack the next day that was planned to the tiniest detail because of a videotaped tour of the building. But hey, maybe that’s just me 🤷‍♀️ Always be on the alert. You never know who has evil intentions.

That's kind of silly in my opinion, I imagine anyone who has ever walked into that small building wouldn't need to take a picture to remember the layout. Biggest problem is people, government employees in particular, don't know what rights our constitution guarantees us.

I'm under the impression that you, the videographer, were 'sent' to my hometown. Ray Charles can see that. You go into a small public building with a camera which will automatically draw attention to anyone. If you were a true media professional, then providing your information would not have been an issue. You go in under the guise of a media professional but your ultimate goal was to bait employees to appear as people who are supposedly violating your rights. Everything about you and your tactics is underhanded and unethical. Polite people have gone into these buildings and committed mass shootings. Polite people went into the Capitol Building in DC using the same rhetoric..my rights. And look how that turned out. Such an ugly day in our history! This is a highly charged climate and people have a right to be guarded. I work on a federal installation and you would be carted off immediately if someone asked you for your identification, you refused and were filming without explanation. Since you are determined to be able to film freely in a government building, how would you feel about someone like yourself filming children in a school? The school is a public building but I don't believe any decent parent would appreciate your method of proving you have rights. You are a sad distraction sir who decided to enter into the lives of hardworking people only to cause negativity.

when Russ went in to conduct business requesting the staff member not delete her video there was one person if anyone needed to wait it was the lady that entered behind him. The sheriff should not have come never mine introduce himself filming in publics cannot be suspicious in itself, by law. When he didn't want to leave, he was doing business in a business office within business hours, these people need a full weeks training on dealing with the public. Sheriff you know, but but nothing the law is the law. Miss Walker is not following records laws aah no i'm not going to be telling her that like Ms Walker has a option.
