Palmerton Rail Productions we don’t have regular Heavy Rescues in California so we use ladders instead to carry the equipment

Can someone explain to me the need to bring that big ass ladder truck to a motorcycle accident? Are they worried the motorcycle ended up on top of a 6 story building? Seems like alot of money to run that truck and if its REALLY needed at a fire it seems like the response time would be longer since it's being misused on an accident.

Ok. This has been explained multiple times already in the comments. The tiller truck responds to MVAs because of the large amount of rescue equipment it has. Also, they might not have another truck able to go out to that accident and the tiller is the only thing available.

first base - They carry a lot more types of equipment than regular response trucks. They’re actually more versatile than one might think :)
