"Stop a Douchebag" - is a Russian youth movement that attempts to enforce the traffic regulations in Russia.
We do not fight for the law. We fight for people to think about the rights and convenience of others regardless of whether there is a police officer near them or not.

Cas Clay Yeah, but even if that is true (which it isn't, he is doing a federal project to show that people are driving/parking in places that actually effect other peoples lives), the policeman / woman over the phone doesn't know that. All they heard was "a man was hit by a car" and then they responded with "this conversation was pointless" Are you saying that if you were genuinely hit by a car, that you wouldn't be annoyed by that? Are you an idiot? :^)

***** I don't 'literally sound' like anything because this is a written form of communication, I'm not Russian so I've never had a sticker put on my car! You're probably a moron who thinks mouthy twats running in and out of traffic and leaping on car bonnets is an acceptable way to act to make a point! I know my car cost me €60k so if somebody drove into the side of it because a group of idiots plastered the windscreen with stupid stickers and chased them into traffic it would be more their fault than the driver fleeing the mob!

I think Russian parking enforcement (and most other police jobs there) is seriously a joke. They're like shitty mall cops but care even less and do absolutely nothing. If you took away all security replaced them with mall security/"mall cops" I honestly think you'd be better off at least as far as enforcement goes lol. Im sure the real hardcore police are not a joke but all these traffic cops are and I've watched all your videos. I'm sorry Russia I really am but I personally wouldn't want those to be the people I see in a emergency or legal matter, and they would bring me no sense of safety or assurance that crimes would be dealt with correctly. . It's a a terrible, sad, real, joke. I would simply have no confidence that's anything would be done to resolve a matter and the bigger the matter the more serious this is. Again,no disrespect to Russia or its people in general -real honestly. It's people like you guys that are moving things forward and making your home a better and safer place for everyone. Plus your doing a far better job than the paid 'traffic police'. You're genuinely helping to save men women and children everyday and you do it with such self control and peace I personally would probably not have(I tend to get ' heated' over this stuff especially when endangering women and children is on the line ) My most sincere Kudos to all of you-- I raise a glass to Stop A Douchebag! --cheers from a longtime fan and supporter Mike

Not only in Russia, but here in New York City. I was hit by a taxicab in uptown Manhattan, two traffic agents saw the incident. I asked them to assist me in obtaining the license, registration and insurance from the driver. Answer: We don't do that, we are traffic enforcement agents. I asked them to detain the driver until 'real' police arrived. No, we don't do that. Driver leaves the scene of accident. "Real' police arrive, they question the two traffic enforcement agents, (who, witnessed the incident.) Reply, we saw nothing, we heard nothing we know nothing. Result: America has the same issues as Russian police, so don't come so hard on Russians.

In Czech republic we have "points" system, is you even danger the pedestrian you can get 5 points and up to 6 months driving ban, if you run out from traffic accident, you can get 7 points and also up to 6 months of driving ban. If you reach 12 points (maximum) you're about give over your driving licence for 1 year, if you refuse, you get fine of about 1500$ (converted) and get the driving ban. If you drive while being banned, you can get driving ban for up to 10 years and also up to 2 years in prison. But don't worry, many police officers here are same dysfunctional as those in video.

The activists are brilliant:patient, tenacious, intelligent, respectful and polite. 👍 Second:their legal knowledge & range of verbal reasoning is admirable. The U.K. & U.S officers cite public filming of Police encounters with the public as ‘’interfering’ with an ongoing investigation. On this clip the activist says .. ‘how does my filming prevent you from doing your job?’ A brilliant repost. 3:Police dysfunction as smartly summarised in title. 4:Whatever the economic, social and political structure of society, we are witnessing a state of anomie. Most cops don't appreciate that yes, but it's not very serious. They didn't seem to care at all so you probably could jump up and down on the car and they'd just let you off with a warning...
