There are indications that three Members of Parliament are set to spend a second night in detention at the Kira Division Police cells, following a day in which their homes were searched for evidence of corrupt actions. The trio was detained on Monday at the Criminal Investigations Directorate in Kibuli where they had appeared to respond to summons on the matter. The Police are tight-lipped about the progress of the probe, which was executed three days after President Museveni said he had evidence of a racket of conspirators of corruption at the finance ministry and parliament.
