As an actual professional smith I can't resist making two comments: First the number and variety of techniques you used effectively are impressive. The other side of the coin: you killed a huge amount of time by not using heat....until you did. Fun video!! Definitely a great teaching exercise I'm gonna throw at students! Just for those who want to try without smelting a combination of heating and LIGHT hammering may work, I havent forged aluminum, because it is best worked in other ways. However, most metals will bond to themselves and some others with a mixture of heat and pressure. Mokume Gane in various grades of aluminum might be done this way and look incredible if etched well.

Why reply to my comment if you don’t like it? Why put a comment section on KZfaq videos? Why create a website to share ideas and entertainment? Maybe the best question is what the fuck are you going to do about it?

Even if he claimed to have done the challenge without cheating, and he did not, being angry because he did would make me think your emotions come from nowhere substantial. And to me, that makes you a joke. I wont reply more, I just hope you think about what it takes to make you angry.
