I am so excited to see this rm250, it is going to look fire. You pay so much attention to every little part of the bike. That's what makes your builds turn out so amazing. I hope one day I have the chance to take an old crusty bike a bring it to factory condition. Just like you. In my opinion, you create the best bike builds on youtube.

Good thorough vid, thanks. I've used the white stick compound on aluminum with good results. The parts can stay on the bike but you must be careful of the spinning mandrel so as not to gouge/ nick material. I've used the white stick on plastics as well. Yellowed headlight lenses come out well. As far as I know that's what the blue is for. Dampen the wheel a bit before you load it up as the fibers tend to hold up a bit longer especially the less expensive ones ( China) ! If you attempt to do plastic lenses the blue is a good finishing step but the white will cut through brazing, the lighter scuffs & light scratches , just be sure to keep a light touch & keep moving as the plastic will get warm & certainly start melting if left in one spot too long or if you press too hard.

I'm studying your excellent videos for polishing forged steel tools. It would be nice to see a video concentrating on smaller area sanding/polishing. Watching others using "proven" smaller bits for those tasks successfully, saves us money and speeds up the learning curb.

Great video here and may revisit some of my bikes parts with your system Thanks

Hey, u know quite a bit about bikes so I have a question. A while ago my bike just started feeling wobbly all of a sudden and the steering felt stiff/ weird, to add on my bike feels super hard to turn now and way more rough on rocks in the trails. I checked my front and rear wheel bearings and they felt fine so I have no idea what's going on?

Can you use the same wheel on different metals or does each type of metal needs it own set of wheels? Not sure if residue from other metals with affect the polishing. Example: I polish my brass parts then I use the same set of wheels to polish some aluminum parts.
@CameronNiemela
@CameronNiemela 2 жыл бұрын
Each type of metal needs its own set of wheels ideally. Each metal uses different polishing compounds, so you don’t want to have mixed compounds on the wheels.

If this was sanded to a higher grit prior to polishing, it wouldn’t have so many waves in the finish. You would also spend less time on the polishing wheel.
