He’s as content and chilled out as a doggo can be. He’s not worried at all by the pool, just not particularly interested in it. He likes your back yard

You can see the progress of the Pollux dog, he is much less shy. This was a good fit for a dog and your family. Give him a year and he will be in the pool. Many people admire you and your family for taking in the dog no one wanted, he seems to like running with your husband on walks and laying outside near you. Means he is adopting you as a family as well. Good match.

Maxie needs to get in the pool so Pollux can see that his friend swims. Nelson should come back & swim some more. And maybe another dog. Scaredy dogs learn from other dogs. He'll do it! You go, sweet Pollux.

My favorite daylillies. Yours are really beautiful. They are so healthy. Arnt the yellow ones named Mary. I left SC where i had daylillies. I loved to garden. Now in arizona today is 111 so i can forget gardening but i will enjoy yours. I am sure pollox will soon be swimming.

When I see what Pollux's life was in the shelter, boring, loud, concrete slab floored kennel, - and now I see him with a loving family and grass and trees and sunshine and toys and cheetos,..It all makes me so, so happy for this precious dog. You are just adorable! And your family is wonderful! How blessed you are! I am grey headed southern girl (Texas) as well and I love my grey! I've earned every dad-burned one of them! I dyed my hair for a long time then decided several years back that I was over it...I get more compliments on my hair color now than I ever did when I dyed it! I am a dog lover also so I really appreciate what you have done for Pollux (and Maxie)...then of course, the fact that I love me some ice cream! YUM! I am glad Pollux and Maxxer had fun. Well, Pollux does not want to go into the pool. He will one day. You're Rolled Icecream looked so good in the Ice Cream shop video. It was funny when Pollux tried to steal the Pupcup from the Island. It was cute seeing Pollux use his Sunfle Matt. It was fun seeing Pollux pay with Nelson. Glad Pollux and Maxxy love your Pupcups. I fell like I may need to take a Judy. Lol. I hope you and yours are well. Give the dogs lots of belly rubs and butt scratches from me.

Thank you... I got the furminator was the BEST PRODUCT EVER! Same deal with Chomp Chomp! Both work great on the dog hair in my house. I have an adopted Chihuahua and a pug mix. Both are rescue dogs...best dogs ever. We love them both. Thank you again!

Hi Kathleen! So glad you are enjoying the items. I use the Chom Chom Roller at least 5 times a day...and every time I sit on my couch LOL. I only use the Furminator sparingly....and Pollux has almost lost his undercoat now so I haven't needed it recently. Yay!

He’s fallen right on his paws ...wow...so much land and a pool. Would you consider adopting me....PLEASE? However, pups usually don’t go into water unless they are got used to it very young. We rescued a border collie aged four who had never been in the water and we only managed to get him in the river where he could stand. He never swam.

I love watching what you do with Pollux....I guess how fearful he was when he first came to you and how wonderful love can change a creature! Hi Susan!! Pollux didn't show any interest in the pool. He wanted to be around us around the pool....but he didn't want to go in. Not even to swim with Nelson!! We've got a long summer ahead so I'm hoping he changes his mind :)

It's good that you are trying to acquaint Pollux with the pool. Dogs need to know where the steps are and how to get out if they happen to fall in. Unless they know, their instinct is to turn around where they are and try to climb out the side, and could exhaust themselves trying. Good to see Nelson has it mastered!

It's so heart-warming to see how happy both of your pups are! They're spoiled - loved - and so happy and relaxed! Love that they even got to have a play date with their buddy! Eventually, Pollux will hit the pool - but it will take him time. I wonder if you carry him in gently lower him into the shallow end if that will do the trick?

I cant believe how much your maxi looks like our westie sarah...they could be related, the big fat nose the little bendy ears..the bushy whiskers around the face! I am so happy to see that Pollux is finally relaxing and acting like a normal happy dog doing normal doggy stuff like chasing squirrels!

Ha, that was so cute! Pollux instinctively KNEW you wanted him to go in that pool, and he was going to avoid you like the plague. We had two dogs, and one loved the pool, the other did like Pollux. No way were you gonna get her in. So, some dogs love water, others just can say "no thanks". Cute calm, quite, relaxing video at the homestead on the holiday weekend. Thanks for sharing.

It's a lovely day in the Northwest. I took my fur babies to the beach, guess what we saw. . Two chickens just marching along like they owned the beach, was funny. You have a beautiful day, if it was not so far away, I would get a curled ice cream, yum.

When I had a pool, my puppy always wanted to get in, but would love floating in a round netted floatie. He was living his best life!

We had another Miniature Schnauzer named Benny who loved to lay on the pool float with me. I miss him dearly

I just had to say THANK YOU again for adopting Pollux. He only knew confinement, loneliness, and mysteries to come. You and your family have so much unconditional love and patience. Pollux was living his whole life as a shut-in and you gave him a wonderful new world full of things he never knew existed. Your patience and desire to see him learn and explore is so wonderful. If only more people had the love for furbabies you have more furbabies would be living the good life. Pollux will never again know that cage with borders and everyday sadness... Thank you again for adopting Pollux. Adoption is the best way to go. God bless you for teaching and loving him and watching him grow... and of course sharing it with all of us!

What would have been really sweet is if hubby had put the chips in a bowl and brought both the chips n drink to his best lady lol... hubby you missed a chance to score brownie points there lol xxx Pollock say " but Momma, I know the Pupcup is for me so why can't I have it now ?"
