I love that Freddy is able to entertain the idea of a pizza with no tomoto sauce, but draws the line at no crust, he is a very reasonable man, all while jimmy only ever has a look of confusion on his face

yeh cuz a pizza with no sauce is just a pizza with no sauce, same with a pizza with no cheese but a pizza with no crust has nothing to hold its shape, therefore it's no longer a pizza also, that would defeat the entire purpose of calling it a pie, since theres no actual.. crust sorry for🤓on you, just thought I had to point it out

I love them because “be patient” and “week old pizza half price” kinda make sense, but then there’s a sign that literally just says “no screaming”. Some mad man had to have come into that pizza store screaming up a storm to make that sign necessary lol

Me and a buddy of mine worked in the deli-bakery dept of a grocery store together when this came out. We'd yell this back and forth, either one of us being Fred and the other Zhhhimmy. It started off on-script, but then after a day it went to "Hey Zhhhimmy! Gimme a cheese with a picture of Ed Norton on it!". "Norton??" Then from there it went totally off the rails what the cheese was with. Fun times in the mid-late 80s...

+Tim Asani Yes, and he was a firefighter on "Gremlins 2: The New Batch." Also yes, I don't know why Shimmy looks like that at 0:21. Some people are saying he looks like he got stabbed in the neck by a knife and died and some people say he got hung and died. It's unknown why he looks like that since he said "nothing" with confusion but once Fred gave the kids string cheese that should have cleared Shimmy's confusion knowing they wanted string cheese.
