Wonderful review as always! I've been using the headset for over two years now switching between USB and 3.5 connector when using phone/iPad (6th generation). Here are my notes after using many copies of this headset: 1- It is one of the most well-designed and comfortable headsets of this price and style range, if not the most comfortable. 2-Voice notifications when call received/speaking while muted, etc. 3- Mic is the standard Poly quality and I always get compliments when I speak through Poly headsets. 4-Some might not prefer the ear pads style, but the leather "stickiness" help in isolating surrounding noise. However: 1-As of many Polys' headsets of this range, you can't be super rough, use gently! 2-There is a minor hiss you can always hear; in all 4 copies I used. I assume it is the effect of the 3.5 mm connection jack but not sure. There is no way to get rid of it in all situations, but you'll forget about it in a second once you start the call! Still can't confirm if this happens through microphone as well. so far, my listeners are happy ! Other use cases of the 3.5 mm connector: You can, for example, have an audio splitter (TSR/TRRS) from the audio source and plug 2 headsets. Or plug headset and audio recorder. Or use headset with bluetooth transmitter.. get creative :) All the best and happy calls 👍

Great video, just found this channel yesterday. Please start showing how loud the music is when you do background noise examples with a phone so we have a better reference of sound level but overall appreciate all the reviews.

I have the 5210 (mono) version. Great for quite environment’s because there is no noise canceling for mic or speaker. Thats why the mono version is a good choice.

Thanks for the review. Wondering if Sennheiser SC 160 or Plantronics Blackwire C5220 might be a better choice for me. When working from home, I want to hear my kid or my pets doing stuff around the house or the doorbell ringing, but I don't want others to hear it through my microphone. Some of these most popular headsets seem to be too closed which can make them too isolating or uncomfortable and sweaty when wearing all day long. Working as a programmer, I have so many calls a day discussing bugs, test results, pair programming etc.

Any demo on how to replace the ear cushion of this headset? Or is it the same as Poly 8220?

I don't see the part where they show the music recorded by their fancy audio equipment (so not by the headest itself). Did they forget to edit it into the video?

Any issue when connected by USB? the volume is pretty low compared when you connect with headphone jack

Thanks for the review! Besides the different design, what are the major difference between the 5220 and the 3325? The price is similar but it seems that the 3325 is newer. Does it mean it's better?

I own a c5210 with usb-c. The 3.5mm jack needs to be connected firmly. On the video the connector doesnt seem to be connected properly. Its even mentioned in the booklet. Its easy to assume the connector is fitted properly, but it isn't after all. I love my headset though.

first of all thx for your amazing reviews on yt. I have this headset in mind but I've heard it on other mic tests it isn't really good against wind / breath noise? You can here it crackling. Would a Headset with foam on the mic fix this issue? I haven seen many headsets that you review that have foam on the mic tbh. Is it uncommon ?!

dude!!!, where's the other test, with all the noise the bender, the mic sound test that you used on the H800, I wanted to hear those test :( it would be nice if you can use the same test for all headsets to see how bad or good is the noise cancelling

What is the difference of the microphone rotated at the left vs the microphone rotated at the right? is there any difference on the noise cancellation?

I tried this one. I was clearly being heard by the other end but I wasn't hearing them. There's no output device. I tried everything, even troubleshooting my audio issues. Does it not work in Windows 10? I am using my laptop btw. Thanks for the response!

if you had turned noise cancelation on and off maybe we could have a better idea. The way it was put, the "noise cancelation" (was there any?) test was very subjective. Anyway, the mic sounded pretty good. What was it's name gain? Rode? 😜
