How big a difference will the Omni mic make?

Really interesting test, I expected the Poly Sync 30 to be better which it was in the mic test when you sat over the top of it, but at a distance it lost its clarity and the pick up wasn’t as good as EPOS which seemed to lose no clarity at a distance. I respect the other comments but can’t see how The Sync 30 was better audio when the music comparison was complete. EPOS seems the better of the two to me.

I was about to get the EPOS, now I think I want the Poly, quality sounded like the pro mike..

Both brands are considered professional grade, but Poly does have more experience making headsets, and they are the number one brand globally, so I think your choice would be solid.

Can you keep it connected to power over usb, and Use it as as carkit with a samsung cellulair Phone at the same time ?

Update and correct my previous review....................... Update from the new test I try today.........I try with 30 cm 60 cm 100 cm distance the sound has no different at all. I already try to install on the front side of speaker and the side of the speaker, very low different, no significant at all. The voice is very clear no muffy, (even less muffy than it's brother Voyager focus but not as clear as Focus (sure...can not compare headset with speaker) After try today, I am very happy to use it. In my previous test the result is completely different compare to today. Today is excellent and make me confident to join the meeting with the speaker. Today I use it whole day from 8.00 a.m. till 5.00 p.m. with zero complaint. Very happy to use this because you have more freedom in the meeting. No need to concentrate like when you use the headset. Feel better more when proof that the different distance have no significant to sound quality. Very happy to use today. (PC specification: connect with BT600 dongle on USB 3.0 port)

@@HeadsetAdvisor Thank you, but it's too late. In my country we cannot return product that do not have any defect. It works as it should be. So, I cannot turn it to different model.

@@jeffreyteen2763 I received the complaint from the person that join the same meeting that my voice quite echo. When I switch to headset, they told that it different. For speaker itself excellent.

@@jsbedi thanks for the info. Can I check did you connect the USB dongle in and use the Plantronics software?
