Great tip on using poly gel for creating 3D flowers. We were taught to pat the poly gel into place rather than try and drag it into place. It is nice to see someone who doesn't add loads of unnecessary product to the nail. They looked beautiful.

It is a great life hack. I had a 3D request from a client, but I couldn't buy clay gel from Amazon in time for delivery. So I was looking for a substitute with Polygel. Thanks useful information.

Hello from Italy! I just LOVE LOVE LOVE your work! Never seen ANYONE mix poly gel with acrylic powder before! Never! This is SO CLEVER! And I've seen hundreds of tutorials! Well, I'm at my first attempts to create 3D, I tried acrylics, mya secrets special powder for 3d, high-speed monomer... the best products in order to make my life easier, well, the results are average-good, fidgety, though... took me 3 hours... I also tried plastiline gel, even more fidgety... This one is a PERFECT COMBO though! Definitely going to give it a try right away! But a do have some questions for you, Do you think it could work with gel, too? maybe changing the ratio powder-to-gel, more powder, less gel? Because, you know, I don't have so many colors polygel, just the basics, white milky-white, all the nudes, and the the clears, whereas I have the world in gels! Or in alternative some white polygel plus color acrylics or also clear polygel with a drop of inks- and clear acrylic to get that gelly effect??? Give us your thoughts, about this, please... And, why not, even adding some chromes or unicorn dust to the white polygel and white acrylic... Please, can you expand and explore for us these other possibilities...? Thank you SO much!
