That gave me the tingles all over. Next level producing , composing and playing wow, wow, wow. These guys are super talented. I’ve re listened to the song at least 10 times and each time I hear “more” it’s incredible.

Polyphia and Coheed & Cambria are tied for my favorite band right now! Some songs that I think are worth listening to are Bloodbath, 40oz, The Worst, Neurotica and G.O.A.T. which is basically required listening for them. My favorite song though is Icronic which has a drum playthrough on here with their drummer Clay Aeschliman

In the same vein of Polyphia as an instrumental band that can grab your attention, you could also check out Intervals, Night Verses, and Animals As Leaders. That last band is one of the real OG's of this area of rock, and they get pretty dirty with it.

Oh yeah, and they're more jazz + orchestra than rock, but also check out Snarky Puppy! They do some crazy shit.

I just recently discovered a band called ‘Oceill’, and they’re from your neck of the woods - Finland 👀 Prog metallers that actually feature Plini on one of their tracks; they sound like quite a healthy mix of Plini, Arch Echo, Haken, David Maxim Micic, and even Polyphia in parts. Could you check out ‘Speed Queen’ by them please? 🤔 These guys are so cool, just recently put out their debut album 🤩

I loved your reaction. I would recommend songs my an artist named ren. Some of his songs are hi ren, the tale of Jenny and screech, violets tale, genesis, losing it, illest of our time, chalk outlines, I shot the sheriff, etc. He’s a great artist and super Uber talented

Hope you check out a new band called Face Yourself with a female death metal vocalist. She is very good and from what I've seen the best female death metal vocalist. There song "shadow self" is a good one to watch.

10:35 There already is something similar to what you talked about, and its called "The making of Playing God". It might be on Tim Henson's channel if I'm not wrong. For some reason Ego Death is one song that I usually skip when it plays on my devices. Kinda feels disjointed / not well integrated in terms of the flow compared to their other songs. Super skilled artists though. Bloodbath has vocals from Chino Moreno (of Deftones) and is heavier if that's something you're into, and its from the new album as well. Some of their older stuff is worth listening to as well. The've got some hits like Goose, Goat, Aviator and 40Oz.
