You want to do another 400 build

Please tell me you put ARP bolts in the stock connecting rods or went with a stronger than stock connecting rod. I had a PONTIAC 400 that i spun the rod bearings from over revving the engine. I was young & dumb and spun a u turn, punch the throttle & ended up doing a complete circle before i chased a friend who was going the other way. All the oil probably went away from the oil pick up. When i tore the engine apart, the stock connecting rod bolt had bent. This was back in the 80's when not much aftermarket stuff was available. Now i dream of a twin turbo 505 with Ram Air V or Warp 6 heads.

I did the top end of my 75 ta 400 4spd. It helped alot, but I swear my 74 Esprit 350 turbo 400 trans was a faster car.
