Pontoons in no wake zones only. That is crazy. Honestly, a pontoon full of hotties, invites me on their pontoon on the ocean, its an easy no from me. I like being alive. I also like not dying trying to save other people that are stupid.

My brother has a pontoon boat for the lake. I cannot believe that people bring them out to the open sea! That is madness. The pontoon was not designed for the ocean.

I'm from Minnesota. That pontoon looks like a rental, I would be surprised if the company who rents them out wants you to take it through haulover out to the ocean. But I could be wrong

I'm very much a passenger and spectator so I didn't know the made diesel out boards. In boards for yachts and the like. But it sre was quite compared to gas.

Don’t know if you noticed, but also the anchor on the front bow of the pontoon boat fell overboard and looks like it was still tied on.

Must consider a GradyWhite also. They compete against each other in the market. If you ask BW or GW owners what would be their 2nd choice they will say GW or BW.

Grady White owner here and I can say that they are phenomenal vessels that will last a lifetime if taken care of however, I’m not a big fan of Boston whalers for the simple reason that in most cases, if that flotation foam they mold into it gets waterlogged for any reason then you just have a piece of garbage on your hands. You would have to split the boat in half to remove the water log foam, and in most cases would not be able to restore. If I could go out tomorrow and buy any boat, I wanted within reason of course it would be a Nortech I did a factory tour sometime ago the build quality is outstanding

I would like to know more about a Diesel Outboard motor. How does this compare to a real Marine Diesel ( GMC, Perkins, CAT)? Then what is the cost?

Hi Ed, this boat has just just been refitted to the OXE200. Engine has similar power weight ratio to yanmar 6 cylinder / bravo combination. Only 40 hours, but so far looking good. This boat supports an expedition dive yacht - not many gas stations out there! Thanks to wavyboats for the footage.

The guy that took a hard spill on the pontoon boat after standing up, what did he think was going to happen? I knew someone that had a pontoon emphasis on had. Even he used to keep it generally the main channel or back channels of the Manatee River. I know sometimes he did run it out to the Sunshine Skyway but only on very calm days. Now he's got a center console.

I love diesel, all my cars ar diesels they are 30% more efficient, so I would definitely have a diesel outboard I don't give a crap how they sound. The important thing is how far they go 💪🏼

Pontoon boats are not made for open water be it a Great Lake or an ocean. They are intended for inland lakes and rivers.

I've got an 8m pontoon boat, and I've got to disagree with the capsize statement. Yes big waves u get wet but the pontoons will always float.
