Күн бұрынRevisiting an old video about adding a 45 degree pipe to create a better circulating Intex pool. In this video, you can better see how this fits over existing fittings and how the circulation is better. This is based on current Intex pools, but may be able to be modified to fit Coleman and Bestway above ground pools.

I have used a 2 & 3 way PVC connector! It works great for all angles!

My water flow is not that strong - is it my pump? I have the rectangular Intex pool that is 18ft long and 9 feet wide. I added the skimmer you have in another video and did close off the second port, but saw no difference in the water flow. My pump is the 1500 GPH Sand Filter Pump.

So I have the cartridge filter and pump (1500 gal). When you close off a port you of course will lose some of that pump. But if your pump is already low before you put on the skimmer, that leads me to believe its your pump. Maybe needs to be backflushed?

@@Hobbitbuilds I've been backflushing once a week, but the flow is not stronger afterwards.

@@heatheresteubing-fisher9729 hmm. I don't have a sand filter myself but i would check all you hose connections, especially on the sand filter to basket. Intex has many screens on intake ports and on filters. These can get clogged with hair/debris and really muck it up.

Use a heat gun to heat/soften the pvc fitting, slip it over the pool outlet, let it cool, Bob's your uncle.

I've thought about this, I was too nervous that as it shrank it would break the pool outlet. If you try it, I'd love to know how it went!
