You make it look so easy, but anybody that plays knows what it takes to achieve the cue ball control that you demonstrate. Thanks for continuing to show me how I should be doing it. Maybe I'll get it right more often. I feel great if I get 4 or 5 consecutive, near perfect positions, but then I do something stupid.

I appreciate your lessons and the way they are presented. I've been playing pool for 58 years and always found that playing was a great way to unwind, and of course fun!. I recently gave my son a very nice extra table I had. He is a critical care doctor, and having this as an option to unwind after a long shift is working out great for him. He has been watching some of your lessons and playing every day. We get together every week to play for a few hours and his improvement every week is amazing. Your technique of teaching with excellent logical explanations is very similar to how I have been teaching him prior to your videos. One thing I do when I find my game is off, missing things I shouldn't, I play a couple racks one handed to make me settle down, concentrate and get my steady aim back in place. It always works for me. Thanks for your great lessons.

The break is random, you can break 100 times with the same power, hitting the cue ball in the same position, placing the cue ball in the same position and you’ll never get the same results. You might pot from the break 80-85% of the time, or you might pot 20% of the time or even not pot at all. In pool the break is the most frustrating thing and can most of the time, win or lose you a game for you. The best thing you can do is find a position on the table you feel most comfortable having the cue ball and just practicing the break. Each table will play different in a competition environment and cloths will play different. Just something I wanted to add. I really like the video though, great tips! Keep it up!

I have just recently saw this and I found it to be the best instructional video on running out 8-ball rack. Love the different options you show on patterns. 👍👍👍 Looking out for the other videos to help me improve my game as I do play rotation and other games as well.

I am a huge fan of Sharivari. But these were truly wide open layouts, and of course perfect for the basics of getting thru a rack. I would like to see him play a couple of racks with a cluster or two, balls frozen on rail, etc.. Love all your videos. Keep up the good work!

A good break is definitely key I liked how you talked about playing into multiple shots as well, I’ve seen a lot of good players mess up a hard leave and ruin a run when they could have played a shot where you have 2 or 3 options depending on speed and angle I always like playing into those because it gives you more flexibility and the next ball is usually easy to get on

I always thought and used middle to bottom on the cue ball and have been successful at controlling the cue ball in the centre of the table. Tonight I will try top of the cue ball for the break. Great tip!! Thank you

Excellent video, as are all of yours. I like the grouping of balls - never heard of that concept before but it makes perfect sense - I think some players do it subconsciously . I have used the "key" ball, which we call the "exit ball" - i.e. "Make this ball, then make the 8."

I use a side break because of exactly what happened in the second break; if you fail to make a ball on the break and spread the rack to that extent and don’t make anything; it will be your last shot against a good player. This is especially true on bar box tables where if you get to the last 2 balls before the 8 and the 8 doesn’t have a pocket you have to play safety shot. Great video as always.

To ShariVari, I really like your relaxed 😎😎 demeanor, while explaining your lessons! Just this last one, made total sense. My break is my most inconsistent shot 🥃🥃? Thus your instruction, made it's point! Following the break, I call it finding the road map 🗺️🗺️ for the run out. Usually for myself 🙂😉 I can drop 5-6, of my object Balls consistently!! I'M a natural Banker rather than a slicer per say? Those slices particularly in the side pockets really mess with my Mojo. Where I play through out WYO, Montana, and other locations, the Tables are the 4-half by 8ft size Bar Tables. Referred to as Valley-8 tables Mgf by Cougar I think 🤔🤔🤔🙏. As your other commenter said the surfaces, can really vary a lot. The cushions, are never the same, (unless State Tournament, or a sanctioned event). Then they will try too conform somewhat with them. In reflection here I like your style,& theory, along with your choices, and your very Easy Manner. Thank You Very much for your teaching Sir.
